Their biggest attack will be....mass prank ordering of pizza's....WITH EXTRA TOPPINGS!
Take that Sony! pow pow!
If you cannot separate right from wrong there is no point in trying to explain to you.
NYC> Yeah that last bit was a bit of a joke, I'm a more mature gamer and find the talk about boycott's quite silly so there was a bit of irony in that last sentence because the terms of his injunction probably mean he hasn't got the choice to own any Sony gear. I have a PC, PS3 and 360 and been around long enough to see many other platforms fail because of piracy.
Senden> It was a joke but is jail time cruel for this? no! he published stolen code. He got off...
What an utter classless tool! Sony could of and should have pursued thie court action until he landed himself in jail. They give him an easy out and now he's ragging on them days later. I'm thinking of selling all my PS3 gear as a boycott because Sony didn't get this idiot thrown in jail!
"Well that may be true to a point but what if we could just upgrade the consoles to our liking?"
Buy a PC. This is a ridiculous article. If Sony or Microsoft ever did this the cost of the console would rise making it less viable compared to a gaming PC. They sel lat a loss for years until component prices and manufacturing processes become cheaper, by the tiem they did that everyone would want new hardware. Who would fit the hardware? its not a simple drop in soluti...
I have it on 360, its good but its not a must have blockbuster, more of a filler until Gears 3. Its like a slightly expanded CoD Zombies but still repetetive, even the local game stores here have got it heavily discounted down to £29.99 so I wonder if the sales are as good as we're led to believe.
Halo Wars was a great game, its worked well using the rich Halo Universe storyline and units, the only improvement I'd like to see is a deeper tech tree.
Ah well nothing there to tempt me this week though last week they tested my resolve not to buy C&C 4..I lost :) for £3.74 I couldn't really say no. I'm hoping they have BFBC2 on sale again soon as I have a mate who plays it on the 360 who has a laptop capable of running it, time to tempt him to the dark side.
I wouldn't give him the steam off my shit
Steam will face stronger competition now that digital distribution has become more commonplace for gamers. I've been a Steam user since it started up and watched its features grow. Its taken a long time to get to what it is now and perhaps could be doing a lot more than it is. Gamersgate has grown a lot over the last year and I've seen it offered by more and more publishers as a way to get their gamers digitally. I recently bought the ARMA add-ons through them. Good luck to them I say...
Why does it have to be one or the other? I've always been primarily a PC gamer though I own a 360 and PS3 too as well as a PSP. I do play a lot more on my consoles now than I did a few years ago but I just take the best from each platform. At the moment I can't get off BFBC2 on the PC even though I've already played through and unlocked everything on the 360 version. I'm looking forward to Battlefield 3, IL-2 Cliffs of Dover and A10-Warthog on PC this year.
Everyone is so quick to shout about their rights but very few stop to consider their responsibilities like this misguided professor. How about Sony's right to defend their intellectual property, their business. How about we do as someone else suggested and take this guys credit card and bank details and post those on the internet so that crooks and theives can abuse those too...but but we only posted them in the interest of free speech and understanding how bank accoutn and credit card nu...
As the first wave of bans hits it was as if a million voices cried out and were suddenly silenced...
People often scream about their 'rights' but often ignore their responsibilities
Kinect is not sensitive enough from my experience using it to make it useful as a driving game controller. Joyride is ok but it shows that Kinect just won't be fast of precise enough for a more serious racing game like Forza. I think it would be that bad that I really think trying to shoehorn Kinect functionality into a game like Forza would hurt the image of Kinect and Forza. The most I think it would be good for is tracking head movement so you could look left and right but thats as far...
I found GFWL easy to setup and use, its basic as hell and not even close to competing with Steam but the writer of the article really needs to learn how to use a PC.
I'm a happy user of Steam, have been since its launch but I'm all for competition and I've said for a long time I'd like to see Microsoft really put some money into GFWL and use some of the development they have done with XBOX Live.
I hope they do a black version with coloured buttons, I'm not keen on that colour scheme.
I love the Call of Duty series but I'm soo glad to see Battlefield Bad Company 2 get the recognition it deserves.
I'm glad developers are starting to push for users to have 64 Bit operating systems and multi-core processors. If you're using Windows XP and a single core CPU you really need to upgrade, its that technology that is holding back PC gaming.
My Fanatec 911 Turbo S wheel with Clubsport pedals looks better than that and I get PS3/PC/360 compatibility. The Clubsport pedals are machined out of aluminium and are extremely strong. Thrustmaster mentioned the force for the brake pedal but the Fanatec Clubsport pedals also have a loadcell which makes them feel more like a brake pedal in a real car. Not only that but the pedals also have adjustments to increase force for all three pedals. Each plate can be adjusted to make heel and toe bra...
Shouldn't take them long to train them up, how hard can it be to learn how to read a Domino's menu, pick up a phone and prank order pizza?
