He made a great mod but I doubt his ability to get a product like this to market as he obsesses over small things like being able to change individual pieces of clothing when issues like this and the inability to make camps still remain.

What world are you living in? DayZ standalone is a joke right now. It shipped 18 months after the date Rocket originally gave and has far less content than DayZ mod - especially DayZ Epoch which has shown where DayZ standalone could have been if Rocket wasn't slacking off climbing mountains or obsessing over re-writing the inventory system so we could change our shirts and trousers separately FFS.

Now the dust has settled I think a lot of gamers are seeing Titanfall for what it is - a fun, above average FPS that suffered from a poor weapon selection, restricted online player count, poor online AI, no level destruction, bullet penetration and less than stunning visuals. By now the shills that wrote their glowing 10/10, 100% reviews have already counted their money and moved on to the next title to hype leaving players wondering really what all the fuss was about.
After WarZ I'm cautiously optimistic about this one as it has Sony behind it using tried and tested technology they have used in another game. Bohemia are in serious risk of blowing the opportunity they had in DayZ because Rocket has wasted too much time tinkering with the UI and giving us useless features like being able to change trousers and shirts independently and not core features like being able to make a camp and stash loot.

Its a shame that the multiplayer is going to be lost but single player is still available, with the help of EA's customer support i moved my Crysis DVD key onto Origin so now i have the full set on there. I've not played through the single player for Crysis 2 and 3 and plan to do so soon as I enjoyed the first one and now have a system where I can crank up the graphics and enjoy them in all their glory.
Yes its early access but unlike many other games he had a solid base to work from with the coding he did from the mod version. Too many developers hide behind the 'alpha' and 'beta' tags to avoid criticism but DayZ standalone was 18 months late and shipped with a fraction of the features the mod had in its last stable release.

Felt it slipping away? Its gone, they bailed out years ago, in fact its been a managed decline since the first XBOX.
I wouldn't mind seeing Halo on the PC, but having played the whole series on my XBOX and XBOX 360 I think there are better single and multi-player experiences out there. Halo is good but without the hype juggernaut behind it, its just average.
