Definitely the highlight for me of the showcase.
You actually liked Infinity Nikki art style?
Honestly they should create a balance schedule and stick to it. "From time to time" is ambiguous and with the competitive scene booming, the last thing we need is NRS like knee jerk balance patches. I think twice a year is fair, half way through a season and then the start of the next season.
Probably not a bad idea when it's a dead game by winter.
This is precisely why discless consoles are a terrible idea. I made my money back on my disc based ps5 within the first two months when comparing the cost on the PS Store to what I paid for my physical disc versions. The last game I bought was Armoured Core 6 for £43.85 on ShopTo, still costs £59.99 on PS Store. Those savings soon add up.
Do we really need it to be open world? I mean I'm down for it if it's executed properly but man the open world fatigue is real.
Well they'll be in good company, next Microsoft will have to buy EA for their graveyard building expertise, I'm sure Spencer would only just dig half a grave now, then finish it later.
Now show me on the chatgpt doll, where did the bad ai touch you
Ever since that cringe Kinect reveal they've never been the same. They used to make some amazing games and do great deals with third parties Early on in the 360 era they had games like Chromehounds and Shadowrun, both well ahead of their time. Now instead of nurturing their studios, they'd rather gaslight gamers and throw billions on pre existing studios. Not sure how Spencer is still in a job, I wouldn't trust him to organise a piss-up in a brewery.
Pushing ingame ads, talking up ai usage in development.. EA are doing a great job ensuring they won't get my money any time soon.
Clearly this is just a big conspiracy orchestrated by the popcorn industry, Microsoft are just their puppets, every time they open their mouths, I'm forced to stock up on popcorn.
Yeah it's starting to feel a bit like the late PS2 era, unfortunately there isn't anybody to humble them and get them to pull their fingers out their ass in the same way Microsoft did with the early 360 days.
"Welcome to the Xbox family, graveyard is out back, what should we put on your epitaph?" Microsoft turning into this generation's EA, spend all those billions on Activision while closing studios they've run into the ground.
GOTY? It's my game of the generation so far, then again I'm a huge FF fan but the game blew me away and far exceeded even my high expectations.
FF7R released to how many potential buyers compared to Rebirth? Sales figures be damned, it's still my game of the generation so far. I'd be surprised if it didn't end up being a good seller for Square, if it isn't then their expectations are probably far too high.
You mean a game that released as a platform exclusive got outsold by a game released on multiple platforms? If you did the math and compared the sales proportionately to the install base, I think you'd find Rebirth out performed it.
Yeah COD is more of a causal game, loads of people who aren't necessarily huge day one gamers buy it as their friends buy it and even if I haven't bought one in years, it is a game that's much more fun with groups of friends.
I still can't quite wrap my head around how Battlestate could have thought this would go any other way. $250 editions of games is something that rightfully deserves every negative article it can get.
*facepalm*
I hate censorship in all forms but everything about this is just so needless and wrong. Wrong that they felt it needed censoring, wrong the creator had the audacity to lie about it and wrong that gamers are so up in arms about it that they feel it necessary to get a refund. A great action game that deserves to be praised getting dragged under the mud due to the pettiness of all parties.
My mate's uncle's nephew works at Sony and gave me the inside scoop, allegedly they have third party games releasing in 2025 as well!
