Except it isn't the norm for the PS3 to have a game which hasn't even been confirmed to have sold a million but whatever. This is nothing new for 360 games and it really is a milestone since alot of fanboy claims want to say "oh I thought this was an FPS" Please.
How is it odd to have options of no matter what system. Halo 3 shows exactly what Halo 2 did and what Halo did. The game is that good. They keep updating it with new maps and what more can you ask for?
IF COD 4 was getting the same treatment we would see them battling it out back and forth and look at it now. Bot slot 2 and 3 are filled with COD.
I got mine through Direct 2 Drive so have no clue about Steam. Works just fine. The missions are intergrated into the maincampaign. You may need to do update 10 before trying to run the expansion. It shouldn't matter where you had downloaded it.
I downloaded this last night and they updated the game with bots available so now you can play skirmishes with this. I love C&C but Sins of a Solar Empire and World In Conflict have been my favorite RTS in the last year.
I don't know why Sony even bothered to waste time responding to crap like that.
Been having fun playing this game both in the unique view and flying seat. Only problem I am having on the 360 version is the system locks up when you press start to play a new game after loading regardless if it is saved on the hardrive or not. Hopefully an update will be made but other than that it has been fun. The demo was fun and got me to buy this game.
This is the same answer for all games honestly. I mean when I play Killzone 2 I don't need it to play like Halo 3 that is why I like Halo 3 for what it offers. I like Killzone 2 for what it offers. The only similarities they both have are being FPS. Killzone 2 offers a different experience and I don't purchase my games becuase I need to have familiarities with COD or Halo 3. Either the game sucks or it doesn't. Killzone 2, Halo 3 and COD 4 and WAW don't suck to me. I enjoy each of them...
So can't wait for this one
So ready for this one. Can't wait to see how far along they have come from the first game.
Prototype still looks to be a more diverse and fun game. I hope they offer a demo for this game but it isn't really that impressive.
Actually it is just as safe as buying a PS3 seeing that both of them come with a warranty. Plus the 360 offers 3 years warranty for the RROD but you knew that right? So you are actually correct if you were not trying to be.
So don't buy the game if it is dumbed down. Better yet since just about the same folks that sit up here whining about what these articles come out with, why not just jump on a new hobby and stop playing video games.
OH,
Don't blame MS for anything. YOu can thank Sony for not arrogants and you can thank SE for deciding to develope for the 360. It isn't MS fault that SE DECIDED(being the key word here) not bribed(which has to be the dumbest accusation in the w...
They may have this viewed as an advantage but that is ignoring the major shift we have seen this past holiday compared to 2007. None of those exclusives are selling. The last 4 months have shown only 1 game in the top 20 for NPD. None of the 1st party games pushed sales this past holiday and January saw a decline in the PS family while an increase for both Nintendo and MS. The time it takes for those games to come out are far and thin. We are still waiting on games to release 1st and 3rd ...
"Out of 28 million Xbox 360 users, they only have 17 million active accounts? Really? It doesn't take a monkey to see something is fishy"
That doesn't even make sense.
MS has the capability to track what users they have in addition they track how many are playing in any game at any time. Come up with better BS than that because.
As far as sales go the 360 continues to outsell the PS3 in 09. The games are selling better on the 360. Le...
It was never realism in the first place. Get off it with these podcast and articles about immitating realism.
I hope your not grown man becuase if you are then god help us and your kind that spend all this time worshipping electronics.
OH well $35 is too expensive for you sorry to hear that.
Good 18 million people seem to be just fine choosing to pay for Live with the options they have to pay for it. Developers like the option that MS offers with the standard features we see on the games. By all means play on your laptop while I play on my 70 in and game with friends and family on both the Live and PSN.
So what happened to all those Killzone 2 preorders? They waited until 1 March to pick them up right? Right? LOL
