He is right about PlayStation VR though.

So making movies based on real-life events is OK, but making games based on real-life events isn't?

This isn't the first time Battlezone has been playable at a convention; I already played it back in August at GamesCom in Germany. It was a lot of fun too and worked great with the headset.

OK, I found three 10/10 reviews (Middle Of Nowhere Gaming, Staffordshire Newsletter, Nerd Bite) and one 5/5 review (Horror-Movies.ca).

As far as I can tell, Metacritic only includes reviews from a set list of websites, which currently does not include any of the above sites, and the list applies for ALL games, not just Until Dawn. It seems like a fair system to me.

I'm assuming that Level7.nu and Everyeye.it are counted because they're popular websit...

Which websites are giving Until Dawn 10/10? I haven't seen any, and I don't see them on GameRankings.com, Wikipedia or NeoGAF's review thread either.

Until Dawn IS a great game though; I played through the whole nine hours in one sitting! :)

What's your problem with Project Morpheus? I'd love Ni No Kuni 2 too, but a VR title in this style would be amazing.

Maybe the game could offer both VR and none-VR options.

The main reason I know that Project Morpheus will be amazing, is because I already played with Project Morpheus and it IS amazing. :)

Playing Battle Zone and being able to glance out the sides of the tank and into the sky as I moved around is nothing short of exhilarating. Gamers are going to love Morpheus once they've tried it.

You're wrong. PS4 can do VR just fine, and I'm saying this from FIRST-HAND experience of playing Battlezone on Project Morpheus at GamesCom last week. The experience was fantastic and had no problems whatsoever.

Arrive early. If it's anything like GamesCom, I arrived 30 minutes before the exhibition opened, went straight for Morpheus and still had to wait in line over an hour to play it. They were turning people away from the line easily before 10:00.

They also didn't allow players to choose which game to play either; it was random based on which station became free when it was your turn. I got Battlezone; my brother got Kitchen. Other games available were London Heist, E...

You can thank the UK sales tax (VAT) for that.

£120 without VAT == £100
£100 == $156.11

$150 is the US price for the controller WITHOUT tax (US prices on consumer websites normally don't include sales tax).

So it's pretty much the same price in both UK and US.

I played Project Morpheus at GamesCom, so I know which one I preferred. ;)

I remember pre-ordering my Wii U Deluxe for £200 on Amazon when the price should've been £300. They didn't cancel it, so I guess I got lucky. :)

So much doubt here, but I have first-hand experience.

I played Project Morpheus on Sunday at GamesCom (Battlezone) and it was an incredible experience that far exceeds anything that can be accomplished on a TV (3D or not). I will buy Morpheus on day one, and I'm confident that it's going to sell like crazy once the early adopters like me introduce it to everyone else.

I noticed this too. I think if you lit a candle in the same room as a 32 lumen projector, you wouldn't be able to see the picture any more. :p

My old projector from 2006 was 2,000 lumens and even then I would always switch off all the lights in the room when using it.

I dislike Activision as much as anyone, but this just sounds to me like a clever way of distributing a game demo without actually calling it that (unless the Kart racing component compromises the main game itself, but I'm seeing no evidence to support this).

The Kart racing component should really be available as a standalone game though.

They didn't misspell it; they just used the International English spelling instead of the US spelling.

I see your point; I didn't like the idea of not controlling the whole party before I started playing games like Tales where this is the norm.

Both methods have their pros and cons; single character control is more risky because it means the AI has to be competent, which is often not the case in a lot of games (Ni no Kuni had terrible party AI). On the other hand, full party control is difficult to implement in a practical way for real-time combat.

One th...

I don't get why everyone seems to insist on keeping ATB combat; I really don't mind whether it's turn-based, ATB or real-time as long as it's thoughtful and fun to play. I've been playing Tales Of Xillia a lot lately and the real-time battle system in that game is a lot of fun. Either way, I think it's more important that it's thoughtfully designed than being a specific type of combat system.
