I pirate the OS. Who wins then? :)
And that's bad because...?
...
Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on Killzone and Resogun. :)
Oops, just realised what you meant about the chime; the short chime after the longer introduction sound. You are indeed correct.
It's a new chime, not the same as the PS2 one. The PS4 chime is much shorter. Also, the minimalistic look may be the final design; this is also the same look they use now for the boot-up screen of the Vita.
I have a list of 20 or so real-life friends on PSN and I can never remember which name belongs to which of my real life friends. Even an option to rename them locally on my own system (as seen in apps like Skype, MSN, ICQ, etc.) would go a long way to solving this, but real name support in general is a step forward IMHO.
Of course, I like the option to continue using anonymous names with regards to people I meet online too.
So they're going to make up for the three PREVIOUS years? ;)
I haven't bought a party game since Mario Party 8, but this actually looks really fun.
Mario Party is a nice idea, but Mario Party 8 on the Wii was far too slow for a party game. So much waiting between turns, dice rolls, text boxes, etc. I haven't played the more recent ones though.
Wasn't this game already in 3D, but fixed to a top-down perspective? All it should take is a hack to change the camera angle to produce something like this.
Of course, the cars, pedestrians, etc. were all 2D and would show up like flat pieces of paper lying on the ground using a 3D perspective. Those are going to be the difficult parts. ;)
This game was absolutely terrible, full of repetitive generic bland level design and fake difficulty. I have no idea why anyone would want to fund this.
This is my PS4 system seller.
@admiralvic
You're incorrect. It WAS an official bundle.
I thought they were talking about a Futurama game when I read the headline; so glad that it's a TV series, which means I'll be able to just grab it from a Bittorrent site the day after it airs and play it on my Linux media center, since I have no intention of buying an Xbox One. :)
(Yeah, I know, piracy is bad, blah, blah, etc. But if it's exclusive to a system I don't own, then it's not like I had a legal option in the first place).
@Icarus_High
I actually did start a second playthrough, so it was over 100 hours really, but I got distracted when I bought Hatsume Miku and then Rayman Legends. :p
I couldn't agree more. I wasn't sure, but I took a chance and I was hooked from the moment I started watching the intro. Persona 4 Golden is the only game that I've ever put 85 hours into.
Speaking as a Wii U owner... I think I'll get the PS4 version. :p
I hate the way they hype a product using meaningless specs. Simulated 750-inch screen? At what simulated distance? Three metres? Three miles? A simulated screen size is useless without knowing the simulated distance.
Also, for those not clear, this is not a VR headset; rather it's a personal viewer. That is, it doesn't do head-tracking and the image doesn't fill your peripheral vision, so you just see the rectangular picture surrounded by black.
I'm still waiting for my e-mail; I placed my preorder on the 30th May, so I'm thinking I should probably get a mail pretty early. Would you mind telling when you placed your preorder?
Here's a novel idea: Maybe if Nintendo didn't OVERPRICE THEIR GAMES they'd sell a few more of them?
I want Wind Waker HD, but there's no way I'm paying £40 for it when GTAV only cost me £35 and Beyond Two Souls is costing me £33. Nintendo, get your goddamn act together or GTFO.
This had to be done, otherwise the Xbox One doesn't look like a good value proposition when compared to the PS4 Mega Bundle, which is the same price in Europe.
Both included the console, camera and one game, but the PS4 included an additional controller and more powerful hardware inside. I think the €20 and free Gold membership is an attempt to counter this clear advantage that the PS4 had.
