I want to play Gears of War on my PS4... go ahead and find that. smh Hey, I want to play Horizon on my Xbox 360, what gives? Hey, I want to play Zelda on my Windows Phone, what the hell? Why in the hell can't I get Zork on my Switch?
Although financially it was a bit of a loser back in those days... J. and crew did a great job for the gamers and have a good vision, and executed great on that vision. Today you have different Xbox and J's gone.

Microsoft ruined it, this started about 10-11 years ago.... Nadella and Ballmer, their vision of future computing does not jive with gamers nor ...
I mentioned a week or so ago Halo 6 will not be called Halo 6.... I didn't know the name but it looks like there is confirmation that its Infinity. Also hearing there is another halo spin-off in the works but this is probably a ways off.
Fable and Perfect Dark will probably be launch titles for Xbox Next, not sure if Perfect Dark or Fable will be shown.
@chiefJohn117 "MakoD defending a Game service 😂 a streaming one at that. "
I suggest you read all my comments in content... actually streaming for gaming makes little sense to me, generally speaking. I would appreciate if you don't take my comments out of context. Does PS Now generally work for what is advertised, I would say generally yes, do I subscribe to it or suggest others subscribe to it.... generally no, as ownership, price and pla...
Yeah, I use PS Remote Play on my PS4 from across the country, there can be a slight lag but for most games I don't notice, but yes, all kind of factors to consider.
I had Spectrum(TWC) and I believe like a 15mb pipe back in 2014 and it worked, not saying you're wrong because the number of hops can have an impact. Don't confuse this with that recommend game streaming, for most people playing locally makes the most sense financially and gameplay wise.
Doubtful or unlikely at this time as there is limited to no demand for this type of service and really hasn't been for nearly 10 years on various vendors. PS Now is not new... .neither is GeForce, etc... OnLive which is powering some of the tech went belly-up... limited demand for game streaming services since about 2009.
"I don't think there ate many gamers that wasn't games as a service, it sounds terrible"
Oh, I actually agree there, but that is beside the point. Windows and Xbox are already being worked on cloudification... I never claimed it would be successful, well Windows will be to a degree because enterprise still needs win32 support for a while. The irony is I agree its not going to really help, so? The very few remaining product/s...
My point is they can and will probably just package it in with a new tier of Office 365... that way they can charge for annual Windows and Xbox usage into a single marketing package.. I can't decipher the rest of what you speak though.
So say something like this:
- Office Programs and iOS/Android Apps (as they do today) - OneDrive Space (as they do today) - Windows Virtualized Desktop (as is being done...
My guess, you haven't tried it. I tested it out in 2014 and it worked rather well and I had a sub 15mb pipe at the time. Of course, there is still latency but for most games you're not going to notice. I also use remote play from my ps4 and that works pretty well for me as well. Now, I wouldn't recommend it for most people as I believe ownership is still better and playing locally is still better... I don't subscribe to the service other than tes...
