"Might not be for you but you can see where they are going for me Sony have dropped the ball alittle bit so far as the pro is not really needed as a console and sales are showing that and VR seems to of gone the same way the vita did."
VR is more of an experiment, nobody is saying VR going to be some mass device, probably very unlikely. PSVR is way way outselling Microsoft Mixed Reality and HoloLens devices, but so what? They are experiments in a niche market....
"But that doesn't mean this experience of playing on my television with a great sound system and great frame-rate and great resolution is going to go away that quickly. "
"that quickly" (did you miss that? He doesn't deny it, he is saying time wise he Ubisoft douche might be off)
They're not readying for the services (plural) yet... as I explained a few weeks ago. As I mentioned you are looking at 1-3 years, streaming wi...
I'm glad this fits the bill for you. :) Variety is good for sure, nothing wrong that... not every title is for everyone else. I'm wondering what Ghost will look like... also I don't think From software is done this E3, don't be surprise by another announcement tomorrow.
Well, if you're a 8 year old you can get the Gears of War: LittleBigPlanet Edition they showed. :) There is some additional equality for you there. I didn't like the Gears of War 5 gameplay at all... all the weirdness was probably the icing or turd on the cake. I'm sure quite a few fans of the series are not going to be happy playing that, at least what was show - Gears of War: The Uncharted Edition
The RTS game looks cool though - it actually looked like ...
Yeah, I mentioned a few weeks ago this (RTS) was coming... I actually like what little was shown of it. Gears of War 5's gameplay though...ehhhhh…. FUBR, at least based on that trailer. I can't see long time Gearheads liking that at all. Image quality is nice... but that gameplay... .wow (not in a good way).
They should have shown the RTS game more, that at least looked like Gears.
It was about what I said, I think I outlined what they were going to have... the only real surprise was the LittleBigPlanet (Gears of War DLC), also I said I didn't think they would show GOW5. Okay conference, next year they should have new stuff to show. I said it would be better than last year but not great or anything.
My disappointment was probably From Software (which I usually love), it just didn't do anything for me.
I thought Gears 5 was actually worse... man, I loved Gears back in the day. The Coalition has completely FUBR it. imo Image quality is good but they just wacked the gameplay.
I was told a beta probably 2018, with a late 2019 release... as I reported here... I also noticed no date.
I was mostly right on everything else, other than I had no idea about Gears of War: LittleBigPlanet Edition, and I wasn't expecting Gears of War 5 to be shown yet.
I thought Rage 1 was good and solid, not great. I thought Mad Max was really cool in some areas but lacking in quite a few... what Rage1 was lacking I felt MM had. On paper this should be a decent title, possibly great.
I believe they are not using ID Tech engine, so I don't think that problem will surface, but I know you were joking. :)
Microsoft was a traditional software company specializing in business/personal OS implementations plus additional office applications on top of the OS. In the early to mid 90s they expanding very fair into service solutions at an enterprise level. Generally, this is where a good portion of their money has been made.
With the rise of Apple/Google, they lost the consumer market, then they started to lose enterprise slowly via Amazon AWS as well. About 6-8 years ago star...
I don't think you will get that, but there isn't really any demand for game streaming anyway, generally speaking. Game streaming is actually approaching about a decade in existence (I tried OnLive in 2010ish.... I tried PS Now during the open beta in 2014). Most of this is a big nothingburger or wishful thinking on the part of EA and others.
I could see companies experimenting but its hard to envision mass acceptance at this stage.... all they have to do is ask Son...
@Muzikguy "You seem to be getting a lot of disagrees which is weird because you're not wrong at all."
Thank you. It comes with the territory. LOL You should see the comments and down votes when I tell them what Microsoft has plans for them in the next fews.
At the end of day, there is only X amount dollars, Netflix gave people an alternative for a segment of the population that didn't like cable for significantly less money. ...
