just kidding. I think it's been pretty well said. There needs to be something new and refreshing to innovate the fighter genre. I can remember having marathon MK tournaments. It was the rage at the time, but the same 'ol button mashing got really tired out after a while.
I agree 100%. Building a network infrastructure like Xbox Live is a huge undertaking. People have to keep in mind that this network and its administration/management is terribly expensive. $50 a year for that quality of network is not that much when all is said and done.
I have heard similar stories about Microsoft support. I can't say I've had the same experience. My experience was very quick and painless. The rep on the phone was easy to understand and didn't give me the run-around. Maybe that's out of the ordinary, I'm not sure.
I absolutely love my 360. My launch system got the RROD when the HDD was seated. They replaced my system and it has worked wonderfully ever since. BUT, I really think Microsoft needs to own up to this problem. I don't care how much of a conspiracy theorist anyone is, this is far too big of a plot for any Sony fanboy group to cook up. The sooner Microsoft admits there is an issue and that they are working on a solution, the sooner they can save face. I'm sure there are alot of people tha...
That's one he11 of a preview.
Dude, you need to relax. If you put as much time into your PS3 as you do hate into these forums, you might be getting better use out of it. Stop being a Chatty Kathy doll and pulling your talk string over and over and over saying the same old crap. It's getting old.
I think it might be between this and Mass Effect, at least from initial impressions and previews. I am anxiously awaiting the chance to get my hands on both of them.
this game is a nice change of pace. The story and surroundings are very unique. I'm also quite intrigued by the underwater society angle, so I'll probably end up picking this one up. There are alot of great games coming out with not enough time to play them. Not a bad spot to be in though.
it is a pretty impartial list. I would be curious to average out the scores of the games once they come out, though. Nintendo's list is pretty heavy, but I wonder how many of those are AAA games.
since there are quite a few promising AAA titles on the horizon. But at what point do people that are on the fence about which console to buy get tired of waiting? March '08 is quite a while to expect people to wait when launch was November '06. It just seems like the average casual gamer would give in and go with either the Wii or the 360 by that point.
It must really hurt to wear those blinders all the time, and your tunnel vision must really be annoying too. I sense a real tone of jealousy. You know d@mn good and well that if Halo 3 was PS3 exclusive you would be riding the one bubble express trying to rub it in 360 owners faces.
@ AngryHippo, well said. I appreciate your level headedness. It's very refreshing. Bubble for you.
I didn't see anything wrong with them. It seems like they wanted the focus to be on gameplay instead of stats, which is how it should be IMO.
my launch console failed to boot with the HDD seated. The replacement they sent has worked like a charm for the last 1 1/2 years. I must say, I think Microsoft is going to have to address this issue. The sooner they do, the sooner they can put it behind them. Avoiding it is only making things worse.
very impressive. Kind of like GRAW on crack. Looks like another must-have title. Thanks Infinity Ward.
thanks, dude. I needed a good laugh. I think you're right though, there does seem to be a little bit of a double standard going on here.
so HOW is that different from Sony manufacturing game consoles, TV's, cameras, movies, DVD and Blu-Ray's, phones, PC's (which run Microsoft windows)? Why the double standard? I don't think people would flame Sony if they tried to make an O/S. I'd wish them the best of luck in their attempt. They may or may not be successful, but they have the right to try, correct?
the point is, the Wii is not all that far behind the 360, and it's catching up. I think the case with the 360, much like the PS3, is that alot of people are holding their breath for some of these upcoming titles that will dramatically increase hardware sales.
Wow, the second half of the year is going to be stocked full of great releases. I can't wait.
Love the avatar, dude.
*Edit*
Maddens Raiders, you're right on about that. I just wish he hadn't put a stop to Extras.
and more streamlined, but nothing dramatic, really.
