maybe you should have considered buying a larger TV with more comfortable seating to enhance your gaming and entertainment experience...haha...I'm jealous. Very sweet setup.

but that game looks amazingly fun.

that companies will start sponsoring game development in exchange for in-game ad space. It's already happening in movies and television. Games are the next logical step. As production costs increase, devs will start looking for funding from non-traditional sources. As long as it's done creatively, I don't think I'd mind. It's the blatant, in-your-face cr@p that would bother me.

wouldn't MS and Sony be better served to produce less SKUs and focus on getting existing SKUs down to a lower price? Just my opinion, but it's getting really confusing with all these SKUs (or rumored SKUs) floating around. I know it's a little bit different scenario, but it certainly seems to be working for Nintendo. 1 SKU, 1 price, lots of sales. The Core was a flop for MS, and so was the 20Gb for Sony. I can't help but wondering.

so $60 a game is pretty much the accepted norm. I agree with Hypnotic and Syko 360 though...$60 is starting to get pretty high. For games that I can wait on, I'll let them drop to the $30-$40 range. But for AAA titles that I really want to get my hands on, I'll pay the $60. Hopefully, they will stay at that price for a little while at least. I'd really hate to see another price hike within the next year or so.

this game looks like it could be a whole lot of fun. I would love to see a demo on XBLM as well.

just to add one more thing...all three consoles have some stellar games coming out by year's end. I think this may be the greatest collection of games ever put together. For those lucky enough to own all three consoles...good luck finding the time and money to collect them all. I agree with you THAMMER1 and tonsoffun...it's really great to be a gamer right now.

a $100 pricecut would really drive sales, IMO. $50 seems the more likely number, especially with the Falcon hardware pending release. And like you said, with the game lineup that's set to come out now through Christmas, they are in very good shape.

I don't see what Peter Dille is talking about. XBLM has everything from retro to newly developed games available. The whole purpose of it is to provide fun, arcade style games, and they accomplish that very well. They're constantly releasing demos, themes and gamerpics as well. IMO, he isn't improving his product any by irresponsibly degrading his competitors. Especially when he singles out MS. What about Nintendo? I think the PSN and XBL surpass their network, but he doesn't seem to g...

it's almost a relief. I'm running into two problems:
1) Being able to afford all the games I want.
2) Finding the time to play them all.
Splinter Cell being delayed until next year is almost a blessing, IMO.

I really like that MS arranges to have these "gaming with the celebrities" events on XBL.

"Oh well, somebody is not getting something." lol, that was pretty hilarious. That's where you can resort to using the classic "I'm just going to get this present for myself as a little treat. I deserve it. I've been good" line comes in. I agree with you with regards to the story and gameplay. It has the potential to be pretty great. Here's to hoping they did it right.

Dude, relax. What happened that you take this so personally? There's enough games to go around for everyone. No need to bash and hurl 5th grade insults at people just because they're excited about a game they're going to play on a console other than your own. If you're that happy with your console decision, just enjoy it. Personally, if I could afford it, I'd have all three. There's great things about them all.

There are just TOO many great games coming out. There's no way in he11 I'll ever have enough time to play them unless I quit my job. Hmmm... Anywho, this game looks pretty slick. An interesting twist on gameplay for sure.

that's looking pretty fresh.

it's certainly not what it was intended for. If they integrate simple games into it, that would be fine. I certainly don't look for them to come out with DS or PSP type gaming by any means. As far as being posted on N4G, well, I think it just kind of gets lumped in with MS. Still relevant, IMO.

I use my Zune like crazy. It's been one of the best gadgets I've ever purchased. I'm really looking forward to some of the updates, especially video marketplace and possibly gaming capabilities.

not that it's your "typical" FPS, but it's a FPS none-the-less. There's alot of games coming out for both consoles that are way outside the realm of FPS though. It seems like there's going to be more variety this holiday season than ever before. Good news for us all.

yeah, this is really old. Couldn't remember the date, but TnS posted it. Still a somewhat interesting, if not peculiar, comparison.

needs to update their information. "Here's what you can expect in September"...except in October, November and December. They all end in "ber" so it doesn't really matter.
