I'm truly looking forward to this game. It looks like it's going to be a great deal of fun.
I think MS has done a pretty good job of getting things turned around. It seems as though they have covered his four points of strategy quite well. We'll see if it's enough to revitalize sales, but with some of the games they have coming out it's kind of hard to argue that sales won't significantly increase.

Yeah, it only took them a shade under two years. They were well overdue for a price cut, dude. 65nm chip=lower production cost=lower console price. It's pretty simple math.
I have to agree with you. Some people would be well served to think before they speak, or type. You're right about the price cut. It's very good timing for MS. A price cut just prior to three of their biggest games (Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect) will only bolster sales. So, it's no surprise there has already been a spike in sales.
I can't wait. There are some scrumtrelescent games coming out in the next few months, to say the least. I'm a happy camper. 8)

I had the wrong impression of the guy. After seeing that, I have to agree with you, he seems pretty down to earth.
sometimes I just get sick of these "experts" and "analysts" predicting anything and everything. But you're right, he's getting himself quite a bit of exposure. I have to give him credit for that.
they didn't include at least one of the Myst games. Those were some of the most difficult games I've ever played, especially without using the guide.
why won't this guy just go away? I guess we're all "analysts" since just about everyone on this site can predict the same thing he's saying. Dropping the price of hardware will be a catalyst for sales? Really?
I don't believe graphics are the sole determination of what is "next-gen" either. The Wii provides a very unique gaming experience. Based on sales of the console, there are alot of people that agree. But you know, that's what's so great about this gen. Each console provides a very different gaming experience. There's more choice out there than ever before, and that's a really great thing. You're right...it's a good time to be a gamer.
just maybe, it's only for the wireless guitar? I agree with AngryTypingGuy, not everything has to get over analyzed. PS360WII is right, too. Little updates here and there are a good thing. Perhaps this is exactly what they say it is.
mine is being shipped back as we speak. Oh well, the extra anticipation will make it that much more enjoyable.
I don't know how much credibility I'd give this guy, but you never know. He could be telling the truth. Then again, until an explanation comes straight from the devs mouth (which will probably never happen) I won't really believe anything.

they will drop the price again. I think this is the first of two price drops. I wouldn't be surprised if they reach the $199/$299/$399 price point by the end of the year. I could be way off, but I have a feeling it will be something close to that. We'll have to wait and see.
how exactly does the degree system work? I mean, this article has been getting quite a few comments, and it hasn't even reached 100. Curious.
EDIT: I just re-read the degree explanation, and it still doesn't really make sense. Maybe it's just me. :-/
Geometry Wars kicked a$$. I would most definitely buy its sequel.
can I please play this game already? The anticipation is killing me. Thank goodness there's Bioshock and Halo 3 to tide me over.
If this game plays even remotely close to how great it looks it will be GOTY, hands down.
