Everything you've said has been confirmed but nothing can stop the disagrees! Gotta love N4G.
Forbes loves hating that XB1!
How many verified XB1 owners complained about the Kinect as opposed to the millions of gamers who had no intentions of getting one in the first place? I honestly wish MS would have stuck to their guns and their original vision, rather than pander to a crowd that just wants the same old s**t.
I could never understand why they made the game less frightening with each sequel. Rumor has it that the feedback metrics showed that A LOT of people had a problem with the first one because it was so terrifying. That game really was scary, enough so that I thought I was gonna have a heart attack at several moments.
Dead Space 3 had a decent co-op mode which I enjoyed quite a bit.
Dead Space 3 was a lot better than people gave it credit for.
Man, these guys just can't catch a break. They've been accused of not listening to the gaming public and now they're catching flack for listening to them, all of this in seven months. Whatever, I got my Kinect and I'm fine with it.
For sure.
It's all relative and dependent on your preferences naturally but from my perspective, I'd have to agree.
Exactly.
Much appreciated. Thanks for the words of caution.
Here's my issue. There's a certain number within the Sony/PS community that want the PS4 to trounce the XB1 so bad that they're grasping at straws to justify any claims supporting this. Even if I avoid articles that specifically talk about resolution disparities, it's almost a guarantee that it will be brought up regardless by some genius with an axe to grind. It's just crazy to me that this is still even an issue, especially with the whole Killzone: SF debacle and DriveCl...
They can down vote me into oblivion, I don't care at this point. I'm just waiting for E3 for the smoke to clear and then we can start talking about actual titles coming to each system and who's got more to offer.
Raise your hand if you're sick of the resolution argument. If this is what people are leaning on in their reasoning that the PS4 is the better system, that's just sad. If the difference between the two were readily visible, then I'd get it but the difference as it stands is negligible. And more and more people are stepping up saying MS is taking care of it so maybe we'll be able to focus on actual games instead of meaningless specs.
I feel like they don't sink enough time in these games and rush them out so that they're released in a timely manner to coincide with whatever it is they're tied to. Obviously these companies are trying to strike while the iron is still hot but they should just take the time to fully develop these titles instead of just piping out shovelware.
343i stated that they had learned a lot from their work on Halo 4 and that Halo 5 would definitely take on a more polished state upon release. I thought Halo 4 was pretty good as it stood so I'm totally excited for Halo 5 and curious about GoW and how that will change.
Like I said, it's not the most amazing game but it's nowhere near as bad as people would have you believe. And I don't put stock in Metacritic reviews, I play games and make up my own mind about it.
Instead of believing that the game is nothing but a QTE fest, people should try playing the game for themselves. It's not the most amazing game ever but it looks nice and plays pretty well.
That's just it. Sony's console was touted "the console for gamers", so... where are the games?
Someone above me posted the same thing pretty much but I just wanted to ask the same question: Why am I not seeing games this interesting and exciting on the PS4 if they're the ones "kicking" the XB1's butt?
I've been looking for any reason to dive into the PS4 world but I still have yet to see anything that makes me want to pull my wallet out. E3 will hopefully change that.
Admittedly a good looking controller but I have no respect for these kinds of products.
