I've been killing it on 60Sec. Got some pretty decent scores in both modes.
Yeah, okay. So, let me guess... you and everyone else were thrilled when they announced that street price, correct? It's literally amazing how defensive some of you people get when it comes to Sony. Unlike most of you, I can talk objectively about MS or Sony because I don't feel the need to take sides. I'm not going to sit here and tell you everything MS does is like The Lego Movie where everything is awesome. I too, groaned aloud when Mattrick told gamers to just buy an Xbox 360 ...
Anyone who doesn't see that as a blunder or misstep of some sort... has already given us disagrees! Woohoo!
The PS3 coming out at the price that it did was pretty bad. And then the arrogance behind the price reveal, where they basically said that people will get a second job to pay for it... I know they turned me off to it and a few other people.
Say whatever you want but if you go back during the time of that initial announcement, I guarantee you that most of the people bitching and moaning about these features had no intention of buying the system anyway. It was a great idea that was poorly described to the masses, a move that allowed Sony to step in and use this snafu to their advantage. People keep talking about PR spin when it comes to MS yet Sony pulled an amazing feat of PR spin with all their promises based off of what fans we...
So shouldn't this put to rest any disagreements over whether or not the PS3 got its ass handed to it by the Xbox 360?
When I say Definite Donkey Punch, that means the preorder is in the bag already and I'm ready to go ;)
Definite purch for me.
All this article managed to do was show how disproportionate the ratio of PS gamers compared to XB gamers on N4G is. The disagrees that some of the above comments are getting, which are all well written and articulate points on the matter, is just ridiculous. I know I shouldn't bother mentioning it as it's common knowledge but to me, it's just disappointing to see that people can't agree to disagree amicably.
I know I wasn't disappointed. It was kind of clear that Halo 5 wasn't going to be shown off at E3 so there's that. Plus the Master Chief Collection... how can you not get excited about Halo all over again with that amazing package? The one thing I've learned as a lifelong gamer is that it pays to be patient. I'm more than happy to wait another year and a half for Halo 5 being that it just makes me that much more certain that when it finally gets here, the game is going to ...
The game sure looks nice but I'm not really seeing anything that makes it stand apart from other similar looking games.
That DLC that just dropped (no way am I typing that title out) is pretty fun with four people. I recommend it.
Amount of sense made in that post: ZERO. And I'd love to see a point of reference for that bit at the end about PS Gamers actually playing their games as opposed to Xbox gamers and Nintendo gamers. Please.
It was definitely news that blindsided a lot of people that day. I think the internet (or maybe just Twitter?) crashed that day if I'm not mistaken.
I remember the day it happened. I was here in NYC on 14th Street and Union Square Park and just about every person on the street was standing still, looking at their phone. It was almost surreal.
At this point, there's no way this game will live up to the hype if it ever gets made. I'm sad to see this game floundering the way it is but I'm more than happy to let it go. Is the original creator even on board at this point?
I almost LOL for real but I'm at work so I gotta keep it down. That was funny to picture.
They should make this where it feels like you're getting shot by an actual shotgun or run through by a huge sword. This would be even more fun to wear on games where after you die the enemies keep shooting you or beating on you.
Look at both and see what they offer and then make a choice on the one that calls out to you. At the end of the day, you're the only one who really knows what you want.
It doesn't really matter what I say, does it? I don't mind using my last bubble to say that much. If you want to sit there and believe that the PS3 launch was a smashing success rather than a miscalculated blunder, changing your mind on the matter means little to me. It's your opinion just as much as it's mine. It's just kind of crazy what kind of responses you get around here if you say ANYTHING that is perceived negatively towards Sony. I know that not all Sony fans are ...
