"There were just too many of them." LMAO
That guy is very bitter. You could probably throw him in a room full of hot naked chicks and he'd find something negative to say about it.
I think that makes perfect sense. It's a great game and deserving of all the hype it achieved when it released.
Agreed but Tomb Raider was more of a second chance reissue. The game didn't really find its audience last gen. Last of Us sold pretty well and its rerelease is sort of a headscratcher to me.
I'm playing Tomb Raider now on the XB1 for the first time and it's astounding! The only problem I have with it is that there's really not a lot of tomb raiding going on in it. It's a little too action focused and not really enough exploration.
I had no desire to play it again after I beat it. This is coming from someone who loved nearly every second of the game. The main thing for me was, the story hit me hard enough that I didn't want to cheapen the initial experience of how it made me feel by playing it multiple times. That might not fly for a lot of you but for me, that story was good enough to just play through that one time. That opening alone may be the single best opening in any game I've ever played.
I'm curious as to how many PS4 owners that bought and/or played this on the PS3 are willing to double dip on this.
I think you hit the nail on the head there. The art style is very reminiscent of Sega's Crazy Taxi and to some extent, Fighting Vipers.
Wow. Did you really just go there? LOL
Has the same thing not been happening on the XB1 at all? I have yet to see any such claims. And it's definitely doable.
There's no way I'm letting any graphics whores ruin this game for me.
Finally making the jump from 5.1 to 7.1 myself. Just got the two surround back speakers and now it's just a matter of putting them up. Can't wait!
I'd recommend this to those who can't get enough of the game and those who have yet to experience the game. If I had a PS4, I'd skip it mainly because I had no desire to play through the game again when I was done with it, save for the beginning. The game doesn't really have a high replay value as far as I'm concerned.
If you don't think this site is dominated by Sony fans, then I really don't know what to tell you.
Already preordered this over at Gamestop. This one's gonna be good.
You're being harsh. Game was fantastic. It was just that ending that was questionable.
To say that this game not doing well means it's over for the Xbox One is ridiculous.
You're pretty much exaggerating. Pretty much.
Depends on the game really and what genre it is, etc. There are some games that really don't begin to shine until you've spent a good amount of time with it. There are also games where you don't really get the full intentions of the developers until it's been let loose in the wild to be played online.
I wish I had an answer for this but right now, from what I've seen and experienced for myself, this stuff looks and sounds very promising. The funny thing is, most of the people bashing this technology haven't even seen what it can really do. I'm all for waiting to see what it can really do before I decide whether or not the cloud is really just smoke, mirrors and fancy PR talk.
Not hating but I think we should be getting excited over new games and IPs, not HD remasters of games that released not so long ago.
