If the game controls as fluidly as controlling the pilot is in Titanfall but even more complex, THAT would be awesome.
That game is a lot better than you give it credit for. It's not the greatest thing ever admittedly but it's still worth a playthrough.
Pachter knocks both systems equally so... no.
With games costing much more to develop in this day and age, it's really risky to develop for an accessory where you're catering to a user base with a smaller attach rate. Then you have to consider that the people you're catering to might not even buy it. This is why taking your chances on something like the Kinect makes sense due to there being one included with every XB1 system. The same can be said for developing games that utilize the touch pad on the DualShock 4. Everyone who...
This game has more than lived up to the months of hype since its initial reveal. Really hope that anyone trashing this game has given the game some quality time before deeming it garbage.
I've sunk hours into this game and I've had ONE instance where the game crashed on me.
You can all trash the game all you want. Bottom line is: more than enough people are having a blast with it and all this talk about stuttering frame rates and other "issues" is being wildly exaggerated.
God, no. Enough already.
He's totally right, actually. It's kind of ridiculous how people get so bent out of shape over a couple of missing features, which will eventually get there anyway. For example, it's been confirmed that the XB1 will have external HDD support but I can wait until they decide to release it because I don't pretend to know what the development process is like and I'm sure it'll release when it's good and ready. Complaining about it not being there yet is just ridiculou...
It'll get here. Be patient.
The man's got a point but that's all relative. I'd like to buy a PS4 but the games aren't quite there yet to make me drop the cash for it, in my opinion. I'd get it for Outlast but that will wind up on XB1 sometime this year, I'm sure.
For anyone who thought I paid too much for my Turtle Beach XP510's, this is the part where I inform you that I received them for free for review purposes. ;)
A game should be reviewed on the basis of what it is and what it sets out to provide and if it is a good representation of those goals. And pricing shouldn't really affect the score in all honesty.
Ever since the movie Disclosure, they've "had it figured out". That movie came out like 20 years ago already.
Let me reiterate. Until they figure out how to make you feel like you're actually walking around a VR environment WITHOUT having to pay out the ass for it, VR is stuck. They'd have to come out with some tech that you place on the floor and it allows you to walk around in one place in such a way that you can't tell that's what you're ...
@hatsune
How exactly are you getting agrees for that comment? Pull the plug on the Xbox One? In TWO years?!? You must be smoking the good stuff, who's your dealer? Can I have their number?
$150 is wishful thinking. My Turtle Beach XP510s cost twice that.
Until they figure out how to make you feel like you're actually walking around a VR environment and not just taking it all in with your eyes, VR tech is stuck.
With you on The Evil Within, already preordered it on the One. If that game interests you, you should definitely look at the Alien Isolation video:

Destiny, console exclusive? BIG GAMING KNOWLEDGE FAIL
The thing about this game is, it was made by the peeps who made Dead Island, which was a really fun game that could've been even better had the controls not been so sloppy and the inventory mechanic wasn't such a pain in the ass. It looks like with Dying Light, they've learned from their mistakes and made sure to implement more fluid controls into it. This game has sleeper hit written all over it.
