One of my buds has over 1500 hours on it. I was really into it until I asked myself what the point of sinking so much time into it was when I had so many other games to play and had no answer.
I have a backlog so this is good news. Besides, I'd rather they take their time and get the game right instead of rushing to get it out the door.

I wasn't one of them. That game was a blast and I'm looking forward to getting the retail copy.
It was obvious from the start that this was going to be little more than a tech demo: great, stupendous graphics with vanilla gameplay. Really don't know why people were expecting more and these reviews were right in line with my expectations. This doesn't look like the exclusive bombshell that many were hoping it would be.
Here's what I find interesting actually. The sheer amount of people disagreeing with the first impressions of someone who has ACTUALLY played the game. If you didn't play this on the 360 but were interested, don't pass this one up. It was great on the 360 even if it felt a bit rough around the edges. Now on the XB1, it'll really have a chance to shine.

I'd rather pay for the service that can bounce back at least somewhat quickly than the one that goes down for nearly a week after what is widely considered an entry level hack. When you take this and what happened in 2011 along with their recent woes in regards to their movie division into account, it's obvious that internet security was not one of their priorities. Probably will be now.
I can't justify a $250 price point but I'm still looking forward to the game itself.
I just don't understand the need of people to tell you that you're wrong for liking the beta. I know that I've played it, enjoyed it and now I'm looking forward to it when it releases next year.
I have my setup running at 7.1 and it sounds pretty damn good. Uncompressed 7.1 is doing the job just fine.

I would actually agree with you on this. I got Watch Dogs for free and I was literally thankful I didn't pay a cent for it. It's got some stuff in it that makes it fun but all in all, Watch Dogs is insanely boring and repetitive. Destiny is at least somewhat fun even when you're grinding.
The hell outta here. I finally got to play it during the free trial this past weekend and it was a blast. Didn't buy it only because I have to mind my funds currently but eventually I will own this.
