This is just awesome, since the expansion came out they added nods to other Playstation games but the one that clearly represented Aloy was broken.
Gives me a reason to fire up the game again, I just love the relationship these studios have with each other with these easter eggs.
It really comes down to the type of person that you are. A lot of people use games for their social aspect, playing with family or friends.
I just assume introverts prefer single player games and extroverts are more into multiplayer games. Doesn't make one type better than other just different games for different folks.
Just because people watch a game on Twitch doesn't mean it's a multi-player game. This whole post is just some projected nonsense.
Roguelites created for streamers? What?
Sounds like you just don't understand what roguelike and roguelite games are all about.
Surely you have something to share by now, concept art at the very least.
I find it really hard to get excited about a game where all I know is that it will be an online game which is not even a great selling point to me, actually makes me less excited.
The problem I have with this and I'm guessing many other people do as well is that you really don't need blockchain/NFTs to do any of those things.
It's literally a cash grab that has negative environment repercussions.
I'd love it if they could focus down on games. I think they create some of the most satisfying combat systems and gameplay loops but everything else seems like an afterthought. If they could just double down on a game instead of spreading themselves thin with each game, I think they could create some of the best games out there.
I think the game will mimic Returnal in a lot of ways, people will love it but I don't think it will gain traction due to the difficulty of the game.
The other thing it has going against is that we're in a year that looks like it's going to be stacked with amazing content. Perhaps with the likes that we haven't seen in a few years now.
Really glad Sifu is getting some recognition though, it was a smart move on their part to move up the rel...
It's sitting at 81 on metacritic right now, if that's not good, I don't know what is. The only real complaint about it I've seen is coming from people who think the game is too hard but this is one of those games that takes time to learn and master, much like the souls-type games.
It does have local co-op. You can play without the friend pass but the question here really is if 2 people would each buy the game to play with each other or if they would not be able to justify that cost and would just skip on the game altogether until a sale or something.
They must have done some focus testing on it and figured out that giving a friend pass would benefit them in the long run.
I get that, I love single-player games and I think they know that. I don't think they would want to throw away the success they've had with those games.
I see this more as an expansion to their current strategy and not a replacement.
Government just needs to stay out of video games, period. I don't trust any of them to not push an agenda.
I'm just excited to see what comes out of this whole partnership. Bungie has been doing this for a while now and with their experience could potentially save Playstation years of missteps. I would say Destiny was handled well, they had their problems as well and could have done some things better but it's just exciting to see what both Bungie and Playstation can learn from each other.
With that said, I'm not a huge fan of live-service games and I'm being cau...
I wonder how much more or less they would have sold if it was just a single purchase without the friend pass.
Hello, just a Playstation gamer over here. Wanted to make a quick comment to denounce both what Tacoboto and Crows90 are saying about me. You don't speak for me or any other gamers not involved in console wars.
How can I have a meaningful discussion with either of you when you spew this toxicity? I understand you guys may not want a meaningful discussion and that's fine but there are people out there that perhaps would and seeing these types of comments will just p...
Presented by Todd Howard.
It's kinda funny because when Phil said he trusts Nintendo and Playstation to do the right thing for gaming as opposed to Amazon, Apple, Facebook etc. In the back of my head I always thought he fits into that same group that shouldn't be trusted.
He's got the charisma and you can tell he loves games but he represents a company that I don't believe has the best intentions for gamers.
Congratulations to Phil though, it's a great honor to...
It's just under the general "HOT deals" section. It's not under it's own banner or anything as I imagine some of these would be over $15 in CDN.
I've been enjoying this latest trend of denouncing NFTs, I just think it's funny that companies have to go out their way and announce that they chose not to harm the environment and participate in a pyramid scheme. It's a weird time we live in.
Also, if you haven't played Overcooked yet, what exactly are you doing with your life?
I think this is a case for technology based companies that could compromise the security for Japan. Gaming is not affected as far as I can tell. There has been plenty of precedent for it already.
It's what you get with the expansion. The outfit is a reward for doing one of the in-game puzzles that is only found in the expansion just like the other 3 puzzles of the same nature.
