My prediction (this is of course pure speculation.)
It's a little twisted but if you watched the trailer over and over, I think Norman Reedus plays as a character (possibly cyborg) with the ability to give birth. he is emotionally attached to a child with a mechanical umbilical cord trailing to his stomach, the umbilical cord is not depicted leading to or from anywhere else. when Norman Reedus snaps out of a delusional state (possibly PTSD of sorts) the camera then focu...
I'll say they both became trend setters no doubt.
"Fans Will “Definitely” Feel Elements of Megaman and Metroid"
excellent!! love those games both, Can't wait to play this!
I think MS was quoted saying that they were "listening and reading" about what developers and the community wanted. that's probably why it was a secret... unless developers were informed to be silent and then react supersized for E3. either way the information was way under the public radar. quietest kept secret.
"Xbox One boss on working with Valve and Steam through Project Scorpio"
A great source to play lots of pc games. It would be a huge plus to the console.
"Phil Spencer makes it clear: first-party Microsoft games are coming to Windows."
Well they do have an OS to support. it seems nobody else is in the same shoes. double the revenues and fanbase for them i guess. can't wait to see how things turn out.
Project Spark is very little comparable to Little big planet. Spark is a "game making tool" which allows you to make different types of games and allows indies to publish their work under the spark trademark. there are videos demonstrating what project spark is capable of. I was actually one of the first few people that play-tested and sent feedback to Team Dakota about project spark.
Honestly I was actually pretty blown away with how advanced it was, which is wh...
A little over the top but it's cool to play it again, now that's it's on steam.
I think Square Enix will be using denuvo from now on. some of their games have it already.
the game hits steam in only 2 days. wow. another record breaking official short notice from steam! steam has done a fantastic job bringing the golden age to pc gaming.
Don't care what other had thought about it negatively, i had very fond memories of this game. played it again about over a year ago, had a blast with it.
Game development is never easy for any company. of course there are risks but all game developers eventually face them. even high budget games face delays and whatnot. making any project involves obstacles to overcome and even our video game forefathers went through the same process with publishers. Allowing indie developers a chance is a good thing imo.
people thought there was going to be an Xbox 720, which didn't happen. like the xbox 360 before the names are just simply that, names.
"PS4 Neo has twice the GPU power, faster CPU, Faster memory, and an extra 512mb ram"
Is that enough for 4k gaming? you pretty much needed at least 8x the power to do the last gen at 1080p. And that's another thing, not all of this gen's games are native, like the last gen before. so there may be sub 4k games too. for PC gaming it takes Titan GPUs to render games at that standard.
It might be a PS4 console specifically made for VR capabilities, who knows. other than this i just don't think a 4k console would be necessary, not when developers are trying to utilize the existing consoles.
This would work well for consoles if their games weren't locked to a specific gen. as it stands this idea would confuse console adopters into seeking the better investment deal, which may be a token belief. In the pc market upgrading works with the ability of gamers being able to keep their games as they move to a new generation and beyond.
"there have definitely been shooters with great stories."
That's not what they mean, they said "Is Very Limited". it's not a question of the story telling being good or bad. what they mean makes sense, it's limited. lots of players like being able to skip cinemas and get strait into the action. this of course leaves devs very little room to tell a story. most of the story in games get pushed into cinemas, which not everyone agrees with. Phantom...
Ridge Racer 4 all the way.
"1. They said they're thinking about upgrading it somewhat for the PC version. I'd honestly be happy with it the way it is though. The more demanding it gets, the fewer PC owners that will be able to play it. "
maybe but I think they mean for the recommended. PC games can have both extreme and low system requirements. ROTTR supports an HD7770 and supports settings like VXAO and other ultra settings.
"Will Xbox Play Anywhere Be the Downfall of Project Scorpio?"
I think it's a pretty good idea, you get 2 versions of a game for 1 price. that is a great value.
