Possible Spoiler -

I have a sneaky suspicion the original trailer of XIII vs is the ending to FFXV. where Notics is left with nothing. no girlfriend to protect or best friends by his side. the song "stand by me" is also a testament that this might be the case with the story.

If you don't believe the guess to the ending, it's cool just ignore it. I'm just putting this out there to see if i'm right. and then i'll come back to this ...

"Kitase adds: "It will essentially be a full scale game for each part of the multi-part series. In XIII, each instalment told the story from a different angle."

"Whereas with Final Fantasy VII Remake, we already have a preexisting story, so it wouldn't really make sense if that isn't encompassed in a multi-part series... So if we're just looking at each of these parts, one part should be on par with the scale of one Final Fantasy XIII game.&quo...

i have a feeling each part of the remake will be over 50gbs. Kitase's wording sounds like it's pointing to this direction. if that's the case, then that's probably why it's in parts. Kitase's wording -

"If we were to try to fit everything from the original into one remake instalment, we would have to cut various parts and create a condensed version of FINAL FANTASY VII. We knew none of you would have wanted that."

who knows, ...

naruga - "FF was struggling after the multiplatform abomination which is called FF13(and DLSs)..yes i emphasize multiplatform because was the main factor of the downfall"

...wasn't FF on the Nintendo and PC long ago? by that logic their downfall was long ago.

"will take place in Nordic mythology."

HellBlade i think has this covered.

Interesting news, but this is not really good news in the interests of late buyers 2 years later into the gen. when every 3 years gamers are going to be trading-in their consoles for higher standards. if the consoles move into this direction they would be more like "disposeaboxes".

And not to mention the total costs from upgrading consoles. It will be almost the same as investing in a good gaming PC. And there's the benefit of keeping your library of games on PC...

Temple of Enlightenment was crazy, so true. i did it twice, the first time i said i wouldn't go that far again. so i did only a little bit of it on the second time. pretty time consuming it was if i remember correctly. great game though.

It's actually averaging pretty decently. and i would also say not all games that have scored 10/10 have actually 100% match up to their hype. It's a rough start for the new IP but it has qualities that can be further explored.

wow, 14 T-flops on a single card! the price tag though is $6000 :(
it'll be a long, long while before a single 14 tflops gpu hits the $300 ballpark.

It'll likely be on pc at a separate date. they did FFIX a while back, the steam leaks said FFX is next. so it's most likely going to be in sequence.

I wouldn't say it's the end to the console, that's only if everyone could afford a good gaming rig. you also need to know a little about pcs first too. If you're way ahead of all that then the pc platform might be your primary choice.

also on the side, i don't think that MS will bring "every" xbox game to pc. only a selected bunch may land on pc, for windows 10 marketing of course.

I liked this a lot, I was a pinch worried that it would be just a creepy house sim with more awkward stuff going on, there's already some projects in existence with this concept already. the ending to this trailer tells a very mysterious yet moving story, which sets it apart from the other projects. the trailer is a 9/10 for me, it also looks nice too.

It's not long but it does look great.

According to the reviews the dlc is pretty brief, judging it as a stand alone. It's more considered added content more than a stand alone dlc. For ROTR's first story based dlc it's not bad, The game length is already long as it is so more added content works well in my opinion.

That's Zbrush to the left of him.

the tool is commonly used by artists for sculpting or importing assets for touching up. The other program directly behind him is Maya.

He had his share of criticisms from his two projects but i don't think it was the platform. he moved to the mobile market because of the simplicity. his last gen games took a lot of work and time to put into. this is why i say i'm not sure if he'd be interested in this gen. one could only hope that he brings something over.

After his last console game he sort of skipped out of the rest of the last gen. not sure if he's much interested in the current gen. it sure would be nice though to see a lost Odyssey remake or sequel.
