Why is that a disaster? You don't want to play their entire catalog for a fee? Then don't. Disaster is now avoided.

I too have concerns for the game as far as enemies go. It looks and plays very slick and polished even for a beta. There's still a lot of unanswered questions about the game so I will take a wait and see approach first.

There isn't one, so the other question is why are people approving these articles?

I don't doubt it will come to the PC, but until it does why bother suggesting it is without confirmation like the title says?

That's the ONLY part i agree with but then again I'm talking to a narcissist who never admits when he's wrong and has a habit of only picking out the little tidbits that cater to your agenda.

EA makes more than sports games but everyone likes to treat the publisher as a red-headed stepchild. The fact is they are one of if not still the biggest publisher out there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

Also 10% off of a $60 game is $6 off, more than what it would cost to subscribe for a month. I was wondering the same thing about Origin and I think it's because EA i...

PS Now is not like Netflix other than they both stream the content, Netflix offers a subscription model where all the content is included for a monthly fee. Netflix offers older titles for a flat fee that can be viewed as much as you want and anything you want. PS Now offers a title by title selection which are also older titles that have a ridiculous pricing model. So until Sony wakes up and offers the same subscription model it will never be like Netflix.

You can't really. PS+ gave us playtime included on some titles. I think they were 60 minutes to 120 minutes? This pricing model might not be bad for NEW games but not old ones. It's terrible. The 7 day rental options aren't bad.

I've said it before, they need to make it a subscription based model like Onlive was.

The only way this is going to take off is to offer a subscription model. My suggestion is $99 a year or $14.99 a month which gives you full access.

There isn't enough good RPG's being made, bring 'em on I say.

DLC is not going to go away and why should it? 20 years ago game systems were unable to offer new content in the same manner so it makes perfect sense for them to utilize it now. Obviously some gamers want it otherwise it wouldn't sell.

It is in relation to PS+ because both require a membership. They also offer free gaming as long as you keep that membership and they both offer discounts on games. PS+ offers some early beta access and EA access offers the ability to play ...

You don't need a PS4 to realize the pricing is out of whack in many areas.

That is good news, the better situation they are in the better they can support their products.

Hilarious, people are fighting over an OPTION only available on one platform. The real question is why? I can understand PS4 owners getting upset about not having the choice but why should there be any fighting with one another?

EA and Microsoft are testing the waters to see if there is a demand for this. What's the problem? Consumers will DECIDE if they like it or not. Again what's the problem? EA games are still coming to the PS4 and other platforms. You can still b...

Let's see, we have video rentals, Netflix, Hulu Plus and many other services people can choose but you're telling me they don't like that?

People don't like paying for channels they watch on TV like HBO but would rather pay a high cost for a bundle of channels that they don't watch? Or should we go back to the stone age with music and force consumers to buy full albums and not be allowed to buy one song?

There are only a handful of publish...

Want to know why Sony doesn't want it?

You have that, as well the PS+ model and the upcoming PS Now service. It's no wonder Sony doesn't want it. However the real question is how are they able to determine if we want? Oh that's right, they are all about the ga...

Cable companies have done this for years, why are some gamers inept at figuring this stuff out?

3591d ago 8 agree7 disagreeView comment

Agreed. They should have a monthly plan for full access but Sony doesn't want to confuse people with PS+ subscription models. Instead they should be offering some form of a Platinum Plus model where you get everything PS+ gives you as well as PS Now for something like $99 a year or $14.99 a month.

My guess is this will be a trial period first with the rentals to see how well it does and go from there.

I expect after The Last Guardian gets announced we will see a huge rise, along with the release of Bloodborne. Then of course a new Gran Turismo will be huge.
