I find games to be almost always far more expensive on Steam than a retail copy from Amazon. Obviously not when a sale is on of course- fingers crossed for tonight...
New Vegas was seriously great, bought it cheap on 360 but hoping it'll turn up in the Steam Summer Sale with all the DLC.
They forgot Alan Wake and ODST- two of the best single player experiences of this generation for me!
Amazing? A reasonable, though flat and uninspired illustration of Gordon Freeman's face? No idea, no concept, no subtlety and captures very little essence of the series.
"Photoshop designers" such as this man make a mockery of graphic design and illustration.
He'd also benefit from learning about bleeds and the correct way to use a scalpel.
I'd like to see Olly Moss' take on a Half Life 3 cover!
So because you ever so slightly disagree with the opinions of one of the greatest movie critics of all time (in that you believe that one single movie should have received a slightly less positive rating), we should all totally disregard his thoughts in regards to a medium which draws so heavily upon the art form on which he is unquestionably an expert?
The conference made me want a 3DS so they must have done something right.
This guy seems like far less of a bellend when he's not shouting from the MS stage.
My issue is that I've spent a year looking forward to seeing what the Wii U has to offer. Today was when they were supposed to show me. They didn't.
They simply have to announce this for Wii U.
The only surprises were awful.
Besides Pikmin, the best games were the 3DS games that shouldn't have been shown today anyway.
None of the exciting rumours came true.
Would have been a great conference if instead of Batman, Lego, Just Dance, the SingStar game and Nintendo Land, they devoted more time to 3DS (rather than holding a separate event) and saved their pre E3 information in regards to controllers and Miiverse for today.
...
Well, the E3 game footage included Mass Effect 3 so it must be powerful enough to run that.
My goodness, almost nothing we hadn't already heard about and too many in game "scanners". Even Pikmin and New Mario Bros were soured by all the nonsense- we didn't need a Just Dance demonstration! We know what it is and chances are, we don't like it!. Where's the meat? Metroid, Zelda, Smash Bros, Donkey Kong, Pokemon, Kirby, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, F Zero?
If they weren't planning on showing many games, they should have brought some launch de...
Ubisoft for the time being, not long until Nintendo though and I have very high hopes...
Nintendo's is the only conference I'll watch live- couldn't be more excited. I'm getting caught up in the Nintendo buzz, I feel like a ten year old again!
"I'd rather see a completely new Metal Gear title... perhaps a remake"
Obviously he read it- it offered a free service, which one could reasonably assume would need to be activated. Upon activation, he would receive his free game. It is unclear that he should have to pay for an extra service- the term 'activation' is ambiguous and it is absolutely fair for him to assume that it is his free month of service that must be activated.
"Data session and downloadable game with activation (of said data session)" is the suggestion the p...
One thing I particularly appreciated in the Kara demonstration was the acting, which is a definite step in the right direction for QD's future efforts. Heavy Rain's story and acting drove me up the wall, leaving me feeling I was playing through a very bad film. I'm sure that Kara is the start of something a lot stronger.
svoulis I recommend you watch this...
Bioshock, Half Life 2 and ODST all blew my socks off. ODST deserves far more credit.
