Both PS3 and 360 would have sold vastly more. Developers would be more willing to invest in big budget games. Instead we've got an overpriced repackaged gamecube with a gimmick controller leeching industry dollars off real game machines.
The world would be a better place.
What a shame. All it needed was the title Afrika: Big Game Hunters. Complete waste of effort to create such great graphics for a stupid photography game.
I can't believe they're still making EverQuest1 expansions. 16th one. I quit like 8 expansions ago and I thought the game was dying then.
I hope more people will play Call of Cthulhu. That game was so awesome yet got no sales.
They banned my first tag - KneeGrowKKKilla.
1. It adds no new functionality.
2. Can't play your old UMD games.
3. Costs more.
Doesn't sound very good to me. Obviously much cheaper to produce these and they're reverting back to PSP launch price for christ's sake.
If they don't make it standard we'll never see it used to its full potential. Eyetoy already isn't standard and therefore not used except for a few gimmick PSN games. Now this new device uses Eyetoy in addition to being a new peripheral.
Of course its compromised. As soon as it was decided to make it a multiplat the quality was compromised. Didn't they even completely dump the PS3 specific white engine they were developing for it? They've designed the game around both set of hardware so it will lose the benefits of either.
Just played through again a few weeks ago. I'd even forgotten how good it is. At the least the best game of the generation so far.
360... don't make me puke.
Advertising space on porn star tits. What will they think of next?
If it weren't Peter Molyneux I would have more confidence at its potential to go anywhere. Read an old preview of any of his games and then the final product. So many things overhyped and not realized.
But really that thing just creeps me out. And I'm sure after like 20 minutes with it you see the flaws and limits and it ruins the illusion.
Europeans getting shafted again. Not even worth the $250 to me. I'm not sure how they're justifying that considering there's LESS features. If they'd added a second analog stick and touch screen or something I'd definitely be getting one.
They just need to hurry up dammit.
It depends almost entirely on the software support.
But imo Sony's has far more potential. Perfect 1:1 control for shooters and any thing else. No matter how fancy it is Natal is just a camera and is extremely limited by that.
Either way they both kind of have to be made standard.
Peering over the fence to where they still make real games?
Confirming that they're going to make more casual garbage doesn't make them winners. Just a bunch of greedy businessmen manipulating the idiot market. Nintendo is hardly even recognizable as gaming anymore.
Minus all the charm and nostalgia of playing a classic on N64. Once you're playing a remade clean version with a modern controller all you're left with is a really crappy game. No thanks.
What a joke. Good business idea to take money from stupid people I guess.
I might consider buying TV shows when I can get a quality and unprotected file to download for a cheap price. Right now all legit services charge huge amounts and are a DRM pain in the ass. For digital content no TV season is worth over $10. When torrents are easier, better, and faster the fault is with the business model for not catching up to the times.
