Hmm. Exact opposite opinion here. Sony's the only reason console gaming is at all worthwhile anymore. Nintendo has turned to absolute garbage. Microsoft just leeches off of PC gaming and ruins both.
Leading on the PS3 at least means both versions will be good. But neither will max out each system.
I don't see how an MMO could possibly work for this game. They should just do WW1 era next. Massive advantage to trenched defenders in that time might actually balance the game properly. It's far too easy to conquer everything in TW games.
Then loop back around to Shogun. WW2 doesn't suite the play style. Also they should make the campaign map real time in the way Hearts of Iron/Europa Universalis are. Would make the perfect combination imo.
This seems more like a list of JRPGs that a delusional JRPG fanatic might think would appeal to others. Good games but I don't think you're going to attract anyone new to JRPGs with those.

Well they haven't really made a good major game since the Dreamcast days. Best thing they've done is publish the Total War series recently.
That is ridiculous. Without exclusives there's not even a point to having separate consoles. PC gaming has been destroyed by multiplatform games being dumbed down for consoles. Instead of a game reaching its full potential the design is stifled and compromised from the beginning. There's definitely a reason most of the best games are platform exclusive.
Done their job? If they'd done their job the Wii wouldn't be a repackaged Gamecube with a gimmicky controller. Immediately doomed the Wii to shovelware dominance no matter what the sales. A modern console needs to be at least up to par enough to run multiplats.
Whatever. Multiplat was a death sentence. They obviously made all kinds of design changes and compromises to make it a multiplat. Delayed the game and made it far worse overall.

Intel if you have the money. AMD if you want best price to performance for CPU/Mobo. AMD motherboards are MUCH cheaper.
I'm sure things will swing back the other way eventually. AMD was top of the line in the Athlon64 vs. Pentium4 era.
Well this is one of the few PC games I'm willing to pay $60 for. Not that bad considering the game pedigree. On the other hand recent console ports on PC like AC2 costing $60 is absolutely unacceptable.
