I think they missed the boat on converting Playstation fans. Couple years there when 360 could've taken off. Instead the Wii distracted casuals and now PS3 has built up a superior game library. If anything we're going to see more and more 360 fans moving over to PS3.
It's not dead but multiplat developers seem to be trying their best to kill it. Infinity Ward destroying the foundation of PC gaming by turning MW2 into console matchmaking garbage is the latest tragic example.
Been tons of recent examples of a gimped PC version. Console style menu interfaces are always the most glaring.
It's obviously to get around a contract they have with microsoft. It would be easier for them and everyone for it to be a downloadable file.

Well they lost a sale from me with the console style P2P bullshit for the PC version. Will pirate it for the single player purely for spite. Maybe buy a 360 version down the road for multiplayer if they never fix the PC version.
Wouldn't be surprised at all. Cost them nothing more and would get millions of rebuys. It's the same pattern they've done with handhelds all along. I'm just amazed the general public hasn't caught on to what a piece of crap the system is. Not to mention the dreadful lack of quality games. You have just lost yourself a sale and gained a pirate for the single player. There's not even a point in multiplayer if it's just matchmaking consolized garbage.
Best game to come out in a long time. Incredible single player and pretty damn good multi. Hope it sells many more millions. Only problem with the series is the generic hero. Hard to generate hype for a game like this despite how good it is.
