It was said that the reason for the launch date of March 2017 is to have more games available at launch alongside NX. Nintendo 64 launched with 3 games in the U.S. alone. No joke. GameCube launched with a dozen games, but had a software drought during the summer and winter seasons sometimes. Nintendo wanted to fix these areas of problems.before launch.
Disagree with WalterOfficialZ. Modern Warfare 2 had a different kind of feeling than the original Modern Warfare. The formula's the same, but the story and character designs are drastically different. Modern Warfare took place in the Middle Eastern-torn locations, while Modern Warfare 2 was a bit more ...urban.
It's not that. It's sales. World at War and Black Ops sold SIGNIFICANTLY less than ANY of the Modern Warfare games. Sold less than Black Ops 2, AND 3.

Keep in mind, I was a huge Nintendo fan since NES. I gave up on Nintendo during GameCube. They will have to have an awesome software lineup that isn't full of re-hashes.

I believe that it's not just 3rd party support, it's also first party support. Every time a new Nintendo console is release, we're fed the same obligatory Mario, Zelda, Pikmin. I found World War games to be boring in general. I've played World of War, but I could not pick up the controller after a few months after. However, Modern Warfare? I'd go back to that ANY day of the week. ANY.
