Its time for a revolution.

Nintendo Switch IS the successor to 3DS. That's the whole point. The article should've said "Why Nintendo Should Hold Off On A Wii U Successor." The previously announced mobile handheld is not going to be considered part of the handheld/console trifecta, it'll just be another device by Nintendo that will go hand-in-hand with Switch. Look to the parental controls for what I mean here.

It's going to be earlier. We're days away from April, the typical month where Activision reveals their games.

@ravinash you sure love to overreact like the people who clicked "disagree" on my post. :)

Keep the hate coming, kids. I never said or assumed they fixed it, I said "if" what part of that is lost on you?

I haven't seen anyone using the glitch in Overgrown in Remastered since launch. That means they fixed the hole in there.

You DO realize that it costs money to bring maps from the past, into current generation consoles, and "remaster" it at the same time? You don't realize how much effort these DLC maps require. Especially if they fixed some of the annoyances of the maps? Creek had a glitch in one of the rocks, for example.

Not even, Specter... There's a reason why I used an image of earth as a story image. It's the ending credits of Infinite Warfare.

I agree.

Well thought out reply!

They were going to make a MW4, but a studio director fought back with Activision bosses that MW4 should be the next game, Activision said "no," and fired the director. Ghosts/Advanced Warfare happened after that. We never heard about MW4 ever again...

Not exactly, but I laughed. :)

And besides, Console Wars ARE GOOD for the industry. More competition = More products/higher quality products.

Um... No. It's fine as it is. I even like the dialogue from the character being played. You may even find yourself in agreement with the voice being played. For example, when you fought Jack Baker in that prison area, you destroyed him, and he says "Now, f'n stay dead!" or something like that, I'm in agreement with THAT, becasue it was exhausting to get away from Jack, then fighting him in the car, then the prison, AND THEN that's not even the last of Jack...! You fi...

I love Nintendo, but I'm more of a PlayStation guy ever since GameCube. I would be excited to find this easter egg, to me, it feels like a nod to Nintendo 64. Automata is set in a future where humans are gone from existence, and robots take over the world... So, it would make sense that an easter egg like this would be there.

People are just too sensitive. Whatever.

@xDealtwithIt Please understand the post. Have you noticed, that each Zelda title it's a completely new game? It does not "continue" from one Zelda title to the next. There is no continuation. They're in separate timelines in the same universe. Call of Duty's timeline changes with each title released. For a while now, Call of Durty's timelines changed between Infinity Ward's games, and Treyarch's games. Modern Warfare, the World Wars (the Black Ops story arc,...

Not a reply to you, but ....Show me the launch lineup, and I'll be onboard. At this point, it's all Nintendo marketing.

Confirmed: 720p resolution. So, how is the screen going to translate the resolution onto the 4k screen? You'll need a checkerboard chip to produce it. Which, I think Nintendo doesn't have experience in, yet.

2747d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

Yeah, seriously. The Tegra chips are just graphics processors. Not upscalers, like the article or article(s) are implying. You'd have to be Sony or Microsoft to pull off 4k on Switch. *shrugs*

It doesn't look like there'll be a hard drive. Look at the unit, damnit. It looks pretty small. Even if that thing is a prototype, I doubt it'll have a hard drive. Nintendo usually doesn't install hard drives. I think it'll be like Wii or Wii U where chips are used as a hard drive.

Or the cartridges will act as a "save point" as it was before the industry went Disc. The most that I think it'll happen is a chip that act as a firmware update ...

That doesn't mean it'll be discontinued as soon as Switch releases, it just means there'll be less developer support next year. It'll be a third pillar, like GBA was when DS/3DS was released.

That's the point. Nintendo Switch is a hybrid, so eveything console, and handheld will be condense into one. I'm sure there'll be "handheld" versions, that will act as arcade titles to break up the pace of Switch. Kind of like Xbox 360 and Xbox Live Arcade.
