Hahaha
"The funny thing is that I understand the appeal. The tongue-in-cheek, wry approach to society is engaging. The stories are filled with memorable characters."
No, you don't understand the appeal. GTA fans don't generally buy the games for social commentary and the innuendo.
It's an open-world masterpiece, setting the bar high from a creative/technical perspective. It is arguably one of the few series that continu...
That's some good math out of you.
Seriously man, you are a straight up myopic moron. Would you prefer GTA V be an on-rails linear shoot-em-up so you could stare at prettier textures?
A. It's probably an area of the game they don't expect people to spend much time in
B. The draw distance in GTA V is absolutely insane http://imgur.com/a/lIjvu#8
C. From what I can tell, there isn't a single game in existence, ...
Impressive... I would cut off my left pinky finger to have free time like that.
Me neither... Hydrolex is right, there is nothing new in this article.
Pathetic, groundless, assumptions all to attain more page views...
An uneducated whine session based in subjective opinion.
The internet needs a garbage disposal service for sites that publish this crap. "Sorry, you've been voted off the internets"
HAHAHA... epic find.
Yeah, the cTOS reminds you of AC because there is going to be a crossover of Watch Dogs & Assassin's Creed... milk both IPs for what they're worth - get a strong following for both - drop hints - boom, crossover.
Remember, Watch dogs only takes place in (and slightly outside of) Chicago... is Aiden an assassin? A templar? Or a 3rd faction we don't know about?
Prediction: In the crossover version, you'll find out that you are actually hacki...
I'd pay double for the regular edition... and 5x the price for a PC Version.
I never understood the people buying new consoles for thousands of dollars after they are sold out. (Until the future possibility of a PC version for GTA V.)
Fortunately, we'll eventually get it on Steam. The 360 will do for now.
It's all about the psychological impact... Rockstar is like the chick you take out on a date, and you know it is going to end well.
Drinks are flowing, laughter is abundant, dinner is good... but she never takes off that damn turtleneck!
R* doesn't show skin too often (I was surprised with what they've shown so far to be honest). R* wants YOU to dive in for the first time, as they bask in pride while 5 million current gen consumers are deflowered ...
I wish every game was like this... but, then we'd have like 6 games to choose from :o)
Color me yellow and slap a black star on my forehead...
Fanboy through and through.
Agreed sorane... I am 100% anti-piracy... but I know more people that hijack console games than PC games.
Steam has made it so easy to go back to PC Gaming, it is hard to imagine not giving them my money.
R* should do a Kickstarter campaign, sell premium versions of GTA V as "investments" to fund expedited development of the PC platform version. Then when it launches, you get your Steam key to enjoy a totally enhanced PC version. No piracy concern...
"Developing for a console as your lead platform establishes limits to what you can accomplish with your creative vision. To be fair, there will always be limits. But developing with the PC as your lead platform means you have much more wiggle room to play with before you hit that ceiling. Scaling down for consoles is much easier than scaling up to PC."
Sorry Nathan... I think this is quite an aggressive generalization. I would pay 5x the price for GTAV on the PC,...
His profile image doesn't help.
Way to find that "leak"... right on their main GTAV website, where no one would ever expect them to post things... oh, wait a minute.
I really hope this is an intentional leak to sniff out pirates; or that it is simply not true.
If it were true, wouldn't we see gameplay vids and screenshots all over by now? I could DL 15 gigs in no time.
Ugh, this stuff pisses me off.
Hype? Or assumption?
Darn, this quote ruined my theory:
"Players will be able to drive any wheeled vehicles, from trucks to motorcycles, or boats. This will allow them to explore the city proper, the rivers, the lake and even beyond the limits of Chicago."
I was hoping they were indirectly referring to "Leaving Chicago" by way of the Animus.
