I maintain the opinion that while it's not a very good RE game, it's a decent CoOp and Action game overall.
Jesus, that dude used only 1 healing item too. That's interesting.
Thanks @PhoenixUp, it's not that we wouldn't have those games at all, but definitely not as we know them.
As much as I love 4 and am highly anticipating 7, 4 came at a time that enabled it to push the industry to evolve, whereas 7 is taking an existing formula and doing it's own thing with it. Without 4, we wouldn't have games like Gears of War or The Last of Us. Without Amnesia, Outlast and Alien: Isolation, we may not have RE7. It has come full circle.
Ordered a candle and a shirt, can't wait.
And in torrenting games, creating more scenarios like this. However, I can't wait for the day where released games don't require a huge day 1 patch, cost 80 or 90 dollars out of the box and have the complete game with bonuses.
Yeah, I don't think American gamers like me have anything to complain about. We've been paying 50 to 100 USD for games for the past 20 years, and the fact we're still paying 60 isn't bad at all. If a game is good, I'll gladly tack on another 30 for more content.
Q1 is pretty heavy with content, I'm not so sure about the rest of 2017 though. It looks a little dry to me.
Same. I was 12 when RE4 came out, and with me taking my good old time with everything it took me 24 hours my first time, then about 7 and a half hours on new game.
So far the Bakers and molded creatures are the only revealed enemies. There is some sort of a virus or parasite, but not much is known. Capcom is keeping things very quiet about the plot. I guess there are notes and things in the environment that will show what happened to the family.
Yeah, I agree this is going to confuse some. It's a bad comparison. People see that and automatically think "oh, it plays like CoD", but he just means it's a new direction, like MW was. I think the best I can compare RE7 is an evolution like 4 was, but going more towards the horror side of the spectrum as opposed to the action side of what makes an RE game an RE game.
One thing that keeps me excited is that a lot of the journalits who flew out to Japan to play it for a few hours a few weeks ago have nothing but good things to say about it, and that they keep comparing it to the REmake
"Oh my God guys. He already got the job, get over it."
I love the Trump supporters who act like they haven't been whining for 8 years or that people weren't hanging up dummies that looked like Obama and burning them. Political extremes in either direction are moronic.
I haven't watched a whole lot of gameplay of this one, but from what I've seen it looks good. I'll be checking it out.
A fake finger obviously, but it doesn't look like a dummy finger, it looks like a real one.
This article is kind of messed up. This may have been given to Japanese ambassador program members, but this comes with the American collector's edition at 4GB, where as the UK one is the one that comes with the art book and a real finger 16GB usb drive.
Didn't Chris train her in combat and weapon use? I thought that was introduced somehow.
One of my most anticipated games of next year.
When you think about it, playing through the first RE can take over 10 hours the first time, while speedrunners can do it in around an hour and a half.
