The inevitable 'which console does it look better on' debate once a demo is available or it is released. I wish they wouldn't because it takes away from how great this game looks to be. If the gameplay is as fun as Jedi Knights 2 (near the end w/ all the powers), than this game should be amazing. Check your facts. There were deals when Halo came out as well w/ a free 360 and Halo w/ the purchase of an HDTV. It goes both ways. Both companies are using tactics to get a bigger userbase. 360 has Live and better software, PS3 has better HW and blu-ray. They are both using these to get more consoles in homes. It's competition and it's good for the consumers.

This is true, but to say that UT3 flopped because it was on the PS3 is wrong. It has only been released in the states (which has been saturated w/ FPS), it was only hyped for hardcore gamers, and wasn't marketed well. That being said it outsold the PC counterpart by a large portion. It also allows mods, which is why it hasn't been released yet on the 360. It was also said that initial sales were OVER what Epic expected for the PS3, so even in their eyes it wasn't a flop.

If you make a good game, people will buy it, no matter the console. Also, attach rates don't mean $hit for 1st party development, only 'some' 3rd party exclusive development (usually w/ a handout to keep it exclusive). Most 3rd party games are multi to maximize profits. Why all this garbage about attach rates. After a year the PS2 had an attach rate of 1.7, glad I didn't invest in that crap w/ such a low attach rate after a year... </sarcasm>

Sony's gaming division is FAR more profitable than M$'s. In fact, M$ has yet to have a single year where they made ANY money from that division. Go look it up. On the other hand, for every PS3 sold this year there was a PS2 that was also sold, which more than makes up for selling the PS3 at a loss (which is no longer happening due to costs lowering for the blu lense). As far as story goes (which is why I played through the 1st so many times). As far as gameplay I would say 3,1,2. I really liked that you have to eat and have camo in 3. 2 was basically a rehashed version of 1, though I did like the end w/ the swords and the 'glitches'. Man, this makes me want to play through all of them again...
