The game has 64% positive reviews on Steam.
Gamepass likely hurts sales... but if they don't have a good game, that will also hurt sales, specially for a indie title.
There are countless good indie games on Steam, that weren't on Gamepass, have lousy sales.
The game didn't get great reviews on Steam. 64% positive reviews. That also likely hurt sales.
@SullysCigar
Ignoring your desperate whataboutism, if you spent the same amount of time searching for Microsoft articles as you spend searching for Sony articles, I'm sure you would find news about Microsoft paying employees bonuses.
They are so evil... /S

Sony has been profitable for some time. Guess all their employes will be getting pay bumps... Oh wait...
Sony is an Evil corporation.
@dumahim
Who ever said it, needs their head examined.
Lets hope they show good games...
Not really.
Who ever said Redfall was going to be GOTY?
Spiderman was a good looking game, but after 8-10 hours I gave up. Nice graphics doesn't make it a great game. Didn't even bother finishing the main story. Played it on PC.
GOTY.
How about announcing the most important info... game release date?
LOL.
Microsoft really need someone competent in front of the Xbox division. Phil isn't that someone...
In Europe a console game costs 80€. That's way too much money.
You remind me of those people that would never purchase digital games...
With a 3 billion fee on the line, I suspect Microsoft are going to appeal any way they can...
CMA's reason to block this deal doesn't make much sense. The other big players in gaming, Sony and Nintendo, don't care about Cloud gaming and the CMA blocked the deal because Microsoft would control Cloud gaming? It's not Microsoft's fault that Sony and Nintendo don't care about Cloud gaming...
Basically CMA is blocking the deal because Microsoft would control something that other big players don't care about... Very Strange Indeed.
CMA will unlikely change their mind. The deal is dead.
$3 billion breakup fee will hurt, even for Microsoft.
Microsoft has to let Phil Spencer go and get someone competent to lead the Xbox division. Even Don Mattrick did a better job then Phil. Xbox 360, with Mattrick, gave the PS3 a run for it's money...
Game purchases are more expensive... Netflix, HBO, Disney, etc subscriptions are more expensive... cinema gets more expensive... everything gets more expensive. Do they really expect Gamepass to mantain the same price?
