Remember that we only get (occasional) physical number sales... nobody knows what are the digital number sales of console games.
Take the example of the sales season Microsoft are doing December 22, 2015 – January 7, 2016. Don't you think there will be a crap load of digital sales during that time.

Yep, PC version for me. Perfectly happy with 1080p/60fps (my monitor won't accept more).
Was going to get a X1 for this game, then I decided to wait for a slim X1.
This game should be priced less then 20€ by now...

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Ori and the Blind Forrest, Limbo, Wasteland 2, Divinity Original Sin... are among my favourite indies.
Not sure if Wasteland 2 and Divinity Original Sin are considered indie games.
I have to agree. It does look better as an isometric RPG.
I wouldn't mind one bit if Bethesda launched a update that allowed the change of view... but it likely won't happen.
My top 5 for 2016 would probably be:
XCOM 2
Uncharted 4
Quantum Break
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Horizon (or Gears 4)
I have to agree... this gen XO exclusives have been underscored and PS4 exclusives have been overscored by reviewers.
Like it or not, most reviewers go after the clicks. The PS4 is the console with more gamers, so, giving a PS4 exclusive a 9 or a 10 will gather more clicks then if they give it a 7 or 8.
There are two ways to gather clicks in reviews... if the reviewer gives a perfect (or near perfect) score or if they give a very low score to the exclusive.
Final Fantasy 14 was released simultaneously on PC and consoles.
Wouldn't be surprised if happens the same thing with Final Fantasy 15.

I don't think Microsoft counts the WiiU and PC market as competition. Rare Replay on PC/WiiU would gather a few extra sales and $$$$.
Actually ... it wouldn't be a bad idea for Nintendo and Microsoft to join forces in the home console business. A console that could play Nintendo and Xbox games...
If the PS4 keeps outselling the X1 (very likely), Microsoft may jump the gun and release a new console on 2018.
It will also depend on Nintendo's new console (if it's more powerful then the PS4/X1 and if it's a success).
Well, we get a new generation of smartphones every year, so 5 years is perfectly acceptable for a console generation.
Well, XCOM has almost 3 million owners on Steam. If XCOM 2 only sells 200k, that's a hell of a decrease in sales.
As for XCOM 2, Firaxis can count with my purchase on the PC.
Sunset has 970k on vgchartz (not very reliable, but it's all we got). Don't you think if you add bundles and digital sales to that, it will have more then a million in total sales?
Titanfall and Driveclub also sold more then a million...
Rise of the Tomb Raider isn't exacly a exclusive... it's timed exclusive.
