What is the date for XDefiant’s next playtest?
XDefiant Development Team have confirmed that the next round of playtesting will be held in April. To be more precise the next worldwide playtest of the game will start on Friday, April 19, at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET. Despite previously announcing that the server test would last only 12 hours, developers changed this to a full weekend. This means the playtest will end on Sunday, April 21, at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET. This server playtest session is available to all players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The developers explained that the idea behind this playtest is to see how well the servers perform under stress. Hopefully, this Server Test will go over smoothly. Moreover, after the test ends on Sunday 21, hopefully, we won’t have to wait long for the official announcement of the release date.
What is XDefiant?
XDefiant is a free-to-play team-based online shooter, developed by Ubisoft. Taking place in an alternate version of the near-future United States, players battle in 6v6 arena-style matches. Various Ubisoft franchises are used as inspiration, and many locations might feel familiar to fans of Ubisoft shooters. Moreover, every player takes control of one Defiant agent. Every Defiant agent is part of one of the factions from Ubisoft games, like “Wolves” from Ghost Recon.
