A new game mode is coming to Pocket Pair’s popular crafting and survival game. Read on to learn what is Palworld Arena and when is the official release date.
In Palworld, also know as “Pokemon-with-guns”, you explore the Palapagos islands and look for cute creatures called Pals. You can capture these Pals and they can serve you as companions, workers, fighters, etc. The game has huge success right from the get-go, with over 20 million copies sold. And now, new content is on its way, and we got the first teaser video of a new game mode – Arena. Now, let’s see what is Palworld Arena and when is its release date.
What is Palworld PvP Arena
Palworld Arena is an upcoming PvP game mode for Palworld. You and up to three of your Pals will battle it out against another player and his group of Pals. We expect an increase in the popularity of combat-focused Pals and the emergence of meta builds and combinations.
From what we gathered from the teaser video, unsurprisingly, you will be fighting in a dedicated Arena. There is no information on how can you access this Pal Arena, but we expect there will be a set location somewhere on the Islands. It would be quite cool if you could build your own Arena, but we doubt that will be the case.
We also expect that some form of a ranking system will be implemented, with championships and rewards for the best Pal Trainers out there.
Palworld Arena Expected Release Date
At the moment of writing, there is no official release date for Palworld Arena. The only official information is that it will be released sometime in 2024. “We are working hard to prepare the arena for you all as soon as possible.“ is stated on Palworld’s X account.
A major update is scheduled for the summer of 2024, and it is announced that a new island is on its way, along with more Pals, weapons, buildings, and more. But, it seems that the Pal Arena will not be a part of this update. It looks like a lot of improvements are planned for Palworld.
