Lovander is a Neutral-type Pal that you can find and catch from fairly early on in your Palworld playthrough if you play your cards right. Not only is this Pal a a decent mid-game team member, but it’s also equipped with a helpful partner skill and solid work suitability, to boot. Fortunately, there are a couple of ways you can go about finding one — and you won’t need to look very far. We’ve laid out how to find and catch Lovander in Palworld, and put together a rundown of its stats and skills.

Where to Find Lovander in Palworld

In Palworld, you don’t need to look too far to find Lovander. This pink lizard-like Pal is one of several species that tend to appear in herds and raid your base from time to time. If you see a warning that reads Fangirls Who Can’t Contain Their Love Raid, then you’ll know a group is on its way. They’ll show up around Level 16, so be prepared to take them on with Pals of an equal level.

Apart from that, you’ll also find Lovander roaming throughout Twilight Dunes. This is a desert-like area on the northeast tip of Bamboo Groves. The Pals here are a bit stronger, showing up around Level 24 or so. You’ll also need to account for the climate, which will quickly overwhelm your character if you aren’t wearing Heat-Resistant Armor.

How to Catch Lovander in Palworld

I haven’t caught Lovander on my current Palworld playthrough just yet, but I can safely say that this Neutral-type Pal can be rather elusive. I’ve seen plenty during raids and throughout Twilight Dunes, and they’re seriously fast. Not only does this make it tough to get away from incoming attacks, but it also poses a unique challenge when you’re aiming to capture one. That said, you’ll want to make sure you’ve defeated any other Pals nearby to focus on just one target.

You can whittle Lovander’s health down quickly by sending out Dark-type Pals. Given this Pal’s strength, you should opt for mid-game species like Katress or Vanwyrm. Pals equipped with Dark-type attacks will perform just as well for this task, too, so don’t write off options like Direhowl, which is able to learn these moves with Skill Fruit.

With Lovander’s health low, aim and fire off more powerful spheres. I recommend Giga Spheres, as Mega Spheres and standard Pal Spheres boast a much lower capture rate against mid-game Pals.
