With the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III right around the corner, the fans of the game got a pretty awesome cinematic before the launch. In it, we saw none other than zombies, but will Modern Warfare 3 have zombies or is it just part of the cool video? Let’s find out.
Modern Warfare 3 picks up where MW2 left off and fans are eagerly waiting for its release on Friday, November 10. Sledgehammer Games, partnered with Infinity Ward, will bring us a new action-packed Campaign, the well-known Multiplayer, and a new game mode.
Will Modern Warfare 3 Have Zombies Mode?
Yes, MW3 will have zombies and there will be a new zombie mode. Developed by Treyarch, Sledgehammer Games, and High Moon Studios, the zombies are returning, this time as an official part of the Modern Warfare universe in a new game mode.
There you will team up with other players in an open-world, PvE survival experience, with some special story missions. As the cinematic suggests, Zakhaev developed a new weapon – a purple mist-like substance that turns anyone exposed to it into a zombie. Veterans of the CoD franchise may recognize it as Aetherium, now in a more potent state. Join Johnny Soap MacTavish, Ravenov, and Operation Deadbolt as they try to stop Zakhaev and his private muscle the Terminus all while trying to sustain the zombie outbreak.
A cereal commercial (yes, you read that right) has a couple of seconds of actual gameplay where we can see zombies chasing the player and also the favorite Monkey Bomb.

Will There Be A Zombie Skin in MW3?
Yes, there will be a Zombie skin in MW3. Fans who have pre-ordered MWIII will get the Zombie Ghost operator skin, just in time for Spooky Season. Players will be able to unlock the Zombie Ghost operator once the game releases on Friday, November 10, the new skin will also be playable in MW2 and Warzone.
