Being the evolved form of Dwebble, Crustle’s most recognizable physical trait is its gigantic shell, which looks more like a huge block of concrete, or maybe a large boulder. There are two ways of getting the Crustle Unite license to unlock it as a permanent playable Pokemon. Whether or not someone can use the first method depends on how long it’s been since they started playing Pokemon Unite.

Method 1: Completing the Beginner Challenge

Players that are new to the game are given limited-time beginner challenges. These challenges give fresh players a reason and rewards for progressing and improving at the game. While one challenge day unlocks every day for an entire week, you don’t have to complete them straight away. A new player must complete them before the event ends, which takes 31 days.

Players that complete the day one to day six challenges are rewarded with Crustle-themed cosmetic items for their in-game trainer. Meanwhile, on day seven, you can get the Crustle Unite License completely free of cost.

Method 2: Purchasing Crustle Unite Licence From Unite Battle Committee

If you weren’t able to complete the day seven challenges in time and missed out on getting Crustle for free, then worry not as you can still unlock it the old-fashioned way. Unfortunately, this way isn’t free and requires you to spend one of the four in-game currencies.

The Unite Battle Committee is one of the three in-game shops. While the others sell accessories and other in-game items, the Unite Battle Committee sells Unite Licenses for Aeos coins and Aeos gems. Once the Unite License of a Pokemon is bought, that player gets it permanently unlocked.

To purchase Crustle Unite License, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Ensure You Have Enough Gems or Coins

If someone wants to unlock the Crustle Unite License, then they will first need to have either 6,000 Aeos coins or 345 Aeos gems. Because Aeos coins don’t require you to use actual money (unlike Aeos gems), we recommend you purchase the license using those.

If you find yourself short on Aeos coins, then you could simply battle more. The good thing about these coins is that even if you lose a match, you’re still rewarded with them. Naturally, winning gives you more coins than losing.

If you don’t want to spend time grinding for Crustle, however, then purchasing Aeos gems directly by spending actual money is still a viable option.

Step 2: Purchase Crustle Unite License

After collecting enough coins or gems for Crustle’s Unite License, all that’s left to do is to buy it from the Unite Battle Committee.

1. From the main menu screen, locate the Shops tab near the bottom, and click or tap on it.
2. On the shop screen, you’ll have three options to choose from. Click or tap on Unite Battle Committee and you’ll be taken to a screen that will have every buyable Pokemon. Look for Crustle, and click on its icon.
3. Finally, click or tap on the confirmation button (granted, of course, that you have the coins or gems) and that’s it! You can now play as Crustle whenever you want.
