Nowadays even your Pals require special diets, there is no feeding them Cotton Candy and hoping for the best anymore. As in the real world, eating Cotton Candy might temporarily solve some issues, but in the long run, you have to take better care of yourself (and your Pals). Devoted Palworld players decided to share some nutrition tips and explain which diets are optimally balanced.
Palworld Players Explain Why Cotton Candy Isn’t the Optimal Food
It’s hard to find exactly what to feed your Pals with, as there are many options. One player, fischerandchips, asked the Palworld community for some advice. They noted: “Is Cotton Candy better than Salads? I was making mostly Salads, but my Pals’ Sanity still goes down too fast. I saw a post about Cotton Candy being useful. It has a 5:5 ratio of Food/Sanity, so I think Pals eat more of it and get the best Sanity”.
Well, if you’ve been playing Palworld for a while, you probably know what most of the players said. HubblePie explained why feeding the Pals with Cotton Candy was only a good idea in theory, while in practice it was a different story.
They stated: “Yes, it can be easier to get Cotton Candy. And, it does raise a good amount of Sanity, but it has minimal food. Most of the higher Food Pals would be heading back to the Food Basket before they even reached their assigned station”.
While some players suggested Berries and Hot Springs, others gave more frugal options. Chrissimon_24 suggested: “A good food to keep their Sanity up that is cheap to make is Toast with Jam on it. I have a dedicated Mining Base that only has 2 Hot Springs for 18 Pals and they’re always 100% sane”.
Balanced Diets Sometimes Mean Pizza in Palworld
Well, according to many Palworld players, one solution takes the cake, or, erm, the pie for one of the most balanced diets. That’s right, according to most of the community members, you shouldn’t be feeding your Pals Salads or Cotton Candy, instead, try giving them Pizza.
TheChaoticCrusader explained: ” If you need a better Food setup may I suggest Pizzas to you. Gives a total of 23 Sanity. You will need a Cow Farm or to buy tons of Milk for a lot of food but I imagine you would do the same for Cotton Candy”.
Another Palworld veteran, Caitsyth, recalled why Pizza was the ultimate classic solution. They stated: “I’ve kept on with Pizza since the old days of cake factories with a side of pizza production. When did the meta regress back to Salad”?
Now, don’t get us wrong, feeding your Pals Cotton Candy here and there to raise their spirits is completely fine, we all do it.
