Most players, especially beginners, have some trouble with the intricate breeding system in the game. It isn’t always easy to choose the perfect pair or how to breed to get a specific trait. Thankfully, the Palworld community is there to share all types of tips, even the ones on breeding.
One Player Shares Their Most Valuable Breeding Tips
One extremely dedicated player, Zenos_the_seeker, offered everything they’ve learned about breeding in Palworld. Their first and most important tip is to get your Anubis first. They explained: “He is great at so many things, and Vanwyrn + Cinnamoth is the easiest combo to breed. Take your time to breed your first Anubis for working with all related traits”.
The second tip says that you should have 4 traits in total (between the 2 breeding Pals) to get the most successful rate of inheriting traits. That means that if one Pal has no traits, the other should have 4. If a Pal has only 1 trait, their partner should have 3, and of course, they could have 2 traits both. According to this player, this doesn’t mean you can’t breed Pals with more/fewer traits, this will just give you the most favorable results.
Another good idea is to always keep one male and one female Pal with no traits. This player stated: “This will help you in many future breedings (if you already have your working Anubis)”. They offered some possible combinations: “Anubis + Loupmoon (empty) = Foxcicle. Anubis + Suzaku (empty) = Jormuntide. Jormuntide + Blazehowl (empty) = Jormuntide Ignis”.
Palworld Community Is Thankful and Helpful
Lots of players expressed their gratitude to this helpful player, it’s not every day that you receive a bunch of tips on breeding in Palworld. We have to admit that this community is absolutely wonderful. Some players even offered examples that follow the tips.
One player, lookingForPatchie, stated: “If I have two scenarios: Male: Workaholic, Artisan Female: Legend, Lucky, and Male: Workalholic, Artisan, Legend Female: Legend, Lucky, Artisan. The first scenario is the better one to breed a Workaholic, Artisan, Legend, Lucky Pal”.
Others, like redial2, offered their own tips. This player stated: “The best way to get Jormuntide Ignis is to find a Huge Dragon Egg on Mt Obsidian. You can do this at like level 5. It’s a lot easier once you unlock flying at level 14 or so. Otherwise, you have to wait until you can get Jormuntide. There are lower level breeding combinations for regular Jormuntide but it’s much easier to find an egg IMO”.
Honestly, the genetics of Palworld are extremely confusing to us, so we’ll definitely try some of these breeding tips. We suggest you try them out as well, as this community gives the best advice. Good luck breeding Jormuntide Ignis and enjoy the game!
