Palworld Veterans Share Some Worthy Advice For the Beginners
We’ve said it before, and we’ll gladly say it again, Palworld has one of the most helpful and tight-knit communities out there. Whenever there is a crisis or someone who could use some help, they are available to provide some sage tips. This community also works together and comes up with all sorts of possibilities for future additions and updates. Now, the Palworld player base shared some advice for beginners.
Palworld is Safe for the Beginners
One player, Ancienda, reached out to their new community to ask for some rookie tips. They asked: “Just starting this game, any advice for a complete beginner? Is there any specific go-to website for all things Palworld? Good YouTube guides? Beginner suggestions? Any and all advice would be appreciated”.
Well, they obviously came to the right place. One veteran, djventures, advised: “Don’t look up guides or videos (just yet), seriously. Learn and figure things out. Once you’re truly stuck on something then feel free to search it up. But this game is amazingly well put together for an early access game, and it would be a disservice to yourself if you found out everything from a video. Just press play”.
CaptainSnuggs wholeheartedly agreed. They added: “The wonder/freedom goes away after you try to optimize your team/base, (still fun getting powerful). But the fun is different when your base is just a random junkyard of new Pals you’re always discovering”.
The proof of how cool this community is lies in the fact that even new players felt safe to offer advice. One of them, rare_snark, agreed with fellow players: “I started last week and am 30 hours in. Don’t look up any videos. The game has great startup guides while you are playing. You will figure out your own play style because there is no wrong way. It’s a really well-put-together game, you will find your way and you will love it”.

Players Offer Some Advice That Might Be Handy
Aside from not doing any research before starting the game, the Palworld community shared some more advice that could help beginners. Gentolie noted: “Stay away from online servers because of hackers/cheaters. The game is very fun solo, but playing with friends on your own online server, if you can, is also awesome”.
DeepDaddyTTV reminded the rookies to put the Pals first. They said: “Steer clear of personal skill unlocks and utilize Pals unless you really want them. You might think you need a really good mining tool, but those skill points might be better spent if you have a Pal that’s good at mining. Pals are generally underused by new players but they do everything”.
Metal_Sign stated: “Begin the game. Do what grabs your attention. Adjust settings if something annoys you. Maybe start with decreased EXP gain a bit and double spawns. The only prior knowledge that’s actually useful before starting I have is it’s annoying to move a Palbox, and structure building can be buggy if you don’t build on a flat surface”.
We’d agree that looking up tutorials beforehand could take away some of the excitement that you’d otherwise get exploring on your own. Other than that, we’d suggest you try and enjoy yourself, experiment, and try out what works for you. The right and wrong manual doesn’t exist in Palworld. The details in this game are simply amazing, so before you start grinding, just take a moment and enjoy.
