Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have announced the latest entry in the Mortal Kombat series with Mortal Kombat 1. It is technically Mortal Kombat 12, but its name will reflect the reborn universe that has occurred in the story of these games.

Will Mortal Kombat 1 Have Early Access?
The short answer is that yes, Mortal Kombat 1 will be getting an early access release date before its official release. Early access players will be able to play the game five days before on Sept. 14, 2023. Although, that will depend on which edition players purchase, which are detailed below.
How To Get Mortal Kombat 1 Early Access
Players can receive early access to the game by pre-ordering the Premium Edition or the Kollector’s Edition of the game. Either will allow players to access the game on Sept. 14.
The Premium Edition will be available digitally and physically on all platforms for $109.99, and will include the Kombat Pack and 1,250 Dragon Krystals (in-game currency) in addition to early access. The Kombat Pack offers Jean-Claude Van Damme-inspired Johnny Cage skin, early access to six new characters post-launch, and five new Kameo Fighters post-launch.
The Kollector’s Edition is only available physically for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and will cost $249.99. This edition will include early access, the Kombat Pack, a 16.5-inch Liu Kang sculpture, a Liu Kang in-game skin, three exclusive art prints, a steel case, and 1,450 additional Dragon Krystals (2,700 total).
