Should I Buy MK1 Premium Edition?
The Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition is only worth the purchase if players are die-hard Mortal Kombat fans or know that they will be playing the game continuously for months after its launch. The edition contains all the content of the base game and all of the additional post-launch characters.
Having those characters would be important to stay competitive. Casual players may want to stick with the Standard Edition, which will cost $69.99 instead of the higher priced Premium Edition at $40 more.

What Is Included in the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition?
The Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition offers much more in-game bonuses than the Standard Edition, and would be the complete package for those who are buying the game digitally for PC (Epic Games Store and Steam), Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Standard Edition Content

Early Access
The Premium Edition will give five days of early access before the official release date, so players will be able to start playing on September 14, 2023.
Kombat Pack
This add-on pack contains a Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage character skin, the model and martial artist, early access to downloadable content characters, six new playable characters, and a roster of five new Kameo Fighters.These will be available post-launch.
