It is not yet known if there will be other ways to earn Dragon Krystals in-game. However, in Mortal Kombat 11, Time krystals (the previous premium edition content currency) could be earned by levelling up in story mode, clearing Towers, or participating in Race Against Time events. So it is possible that Dragon Krystals treasure chests will also be obtainable through a combination of progression and mastery over Invasions and Towers.
