Do Krushing Blows Return in Mortal Kombat 1?
The simple answer is that Krushing Blows will not be in the game. The special attacks will not be returning in the latest title from Mortal Kombat 11, though its exclusion ahs not been seen as a negative.
While the attacks themselves were interesting and the requirements to pull them off were varied, players did have some issues with them. Some characters’ Krushing Blows were more powerful than others, and the animations for them could break up the flow of the fight.
What Are Krushing Blows?
Krushing Blows are special attacks that are triggered by certain requirements during a match. These moves are actually basic attacks, but the camera will zoom in close to the opponent on the attack and show their organs getting hit or bones breaking.
It is similar to the X-Ray attack used in Mortal Kombat (2011) and Mortal Kombat X, but work differently. Each Krushing Blow could only be used once per match, and the effect would be different based on the attack. Effects for some of the attacks include continually dealing damage or simply a stronger version of the same attack.
