Helldivers 2 Major Order Puts the Automatons Back on the Menu
After a very efficient bug MO, the current Major Order is sending the devoted Helldivers 2 players back to the Western front to fight the Automatons. Joel might have made this decision after finding out about the community-led Mini Order. Now, the players have the perfect opportunity to make a dent in the bot front.
Major Order Sends Helldivers 2 Players to Spill Some Oil
The latest Major Order was issued on July 11. It simply reads: “Split the Automaton forces in half at the Andromeda Sector”. The players will have to work together on this one, as it requests four planets to be liberated in the span of six days. The planets in question are Matar Bay, Martale, Marfark, and, of course, Aesir Pass.

Alongside, one of the Community Managers issued an update on the Galactic War. The update offered some new information on the evolution of the bugs, stating that under controlled duress, the Terminids produced higher-quality E-710. This information might increase the already existing tension between Helldivers and the bugs.
The CM also shared the reasoning behind the current Major Order. They noted: “Now, Super Earth High Command directs the Helldivers back to the Western front, as a strategic opportunity of galactic proportions has revealed itself. The Automatons have opened up the opportunity to split their forces down the middle, which would throw their cut-off forces into disarray and weaken their defenses for a short time on the cut-off planets”.

Helldivers Order Fellow Soldiers to Join Them on Aesir Pass
The Helldivers 2 community is trying to coordinate the players and find the most efficient way to deal with the Automatons and the current Major Order. Horror-Tank-4082 said: “If you’re on Matar Bay, you’re throwing your liberation into a hole for Automatons to burn. Head to Aesir Pass”.
A lot of players agreed and went on to fulfill their democratic duty, but some, like atheos013, were against that plan. This player stated: “But Matar Bay has a lower %. This means each diver on Matar Bay is worth more than each diver on Aesir Pass towards liberation. If everyone on Aesir Pass was in Matar Bay, that would be the fastest way”.
Cavesloth13 explained why you should always follow the crowd. They noted: “For some reason, the blob chose the Pass, and there just isn’t enough to do both. Diving the planet the blob chose is still a better choice even if Matar Bay was the smarter choice. If we stay split up, this MO is gonna be hard”.
We’d say stick with the majority of players. The number of Helldivers willing to fight the Automatons is already low, there is no need to make it even lower by splitting up. Of course, if you are playing just to relax and enjoy yourself, play against whomever, wherever. Every contribution to democracy counts.
