Are you wondering how to unlock Sorcerer’s Enchantment slots in Diablo 4? We’ll tell you how to unlock them, where, when, and why. Read on.
Each Class in Diablo 4 has a unique mechanic to supplement its play style. For example, Rogues have Specializations, Necromancers have the Book of the Dead, and Sorcerers have Enchantments. But none of these mechanics are available from Level 1, so you must be wondering how to unlock them. Let’s see how to unlock Enchantment slots in Diablo 4.
How Do You Unlock Sorcerer’s Enchantment Slots?
Thankfully, unlocking Enchantment slots is quite simple. Follow these simple steps to see how:
- First, you must reach Level 15, where you will unlock a class-specific quest “Sorcerer: Legacy of the Magi”
- Travel to Nevesk and talk to Mordarin, located in the southwest of Fractured Peaks.
- He’ll ask you to retrieve the Forgotten Codex, in the Lost Archives dungeon, to the East.
- Once you find it, follow Mordarin into the Abandoned Shack
- Help him perform a ritual by lighting four Braziers
- A fight will ensue, after which talk to Mordarin to finish the quest.
- This will unlock your first Enchantment slot.

How To Use Enchantment Slots In Diablo 4
Using Enchantment is also very simple. First, open your Abilities menu, then the Skill Tree tab. Then proceed to Skill Assignment, located at the bottom of the menu. There you will see all the Skills you have unlocked, and at its bottom, you will see two orbs representing Enchantment slots. Simply assign an available skill to it to unlock its Enchantment passive bonus (this will not remove the skill from your action bar). You only get one on Level 15, you have to reach Level 30 to unlock the second.
Enchantments offer a passive bonus for the assigned Skill, and each Skill has its own unique Enchantment bonus. Note that Ultimate Skills cannot be Enchanted.
