Diablo 4 has had a few successful beta tests and will soon be in the hands of players across PC, PS5, PS4,, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. A lot of people will be excited to make their first character, but can you change gender in the game?
Tuning how your character looks is important to players, but just how much control over customization will players have after initially creating their character. This guide will show players whether they can choose different genders for their characters, and if it possible to change that character’s gender at any time during the game.
Can You Change Gender Anytime in Diablo 4?
Unfortunately, Diablo 4 players will not be able to change their character’s gender anytime during the game. Players will have to stay with the gender they had picked for that certain character throughout the game.. The choice of gender is permanent and players will have to create an entirely new character to switch it.
There are no gameplay or stat benefits for either gender, and is purely cosmetic. However, players can change the appearance of their character anytime within the game by visiting a Wardrobe. The Wardrobe can be found in certain towns, marked on the map by a closet icon, and players can change their physical attributes alongside the appearance of their armor pieces anytime.
Can You Pick Gender in Diablo 4?
Players will be able to pick their gender in Diablo 4. Since Diablo 4 offers five classes to choose from: Barbarians, Druids, Necromancers, Rogues, and Sorcerers. Regardless of the class picked, players can choose whether to be male and female during the character Creation stage.
The character customization also goes much deeper than just the gender. Some of the options include what kind of hairstyle, facial hair, tattoos, battle damage, and other accessories for the player’s character.
