Destiny 2 Players Share Which Treasured Items They Gladly Keep in Their Inventory

Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares Warlock

Keeping shiny stuff and interesting objects is an inherently human trait. Whether you found an unusually shaped rock outside or bought another collectible, we’ve all done it and enjoyed it. Destiny 2 players know exactly the feeling, as they excitedly share which unnecessary items they love seeing in their inventory.

Players Share Their Favorite Items

Players listed their favorite possessions on Reddit. Some of these items are either very rare, very old, or just strange. The majority of the older items that we’ve seen have become useless over time, with the game changing all the time.

SplashDmgEnthusiast noted: “I have a pair of extremely old items: “scout reports” for the EDZ and Nessus, they were consumable items Cayde handed out back in vanilla D2. Use one and it would highlight loot caches for you and your fireteam for 4 hours. Completely useless with our current Ghost mods”.

The same player also shared they kept the original starting gear for all three characters. “A full set of the “damaged” white-rarity armor, the damaged Traveler’s Chosen, and the Stubborn Oak shotgun, all locked at 0 power”.

Some players have some really ancient items in their inventory, it’s amazing how they held onto them for years. Huckdog720027 stated: “The rarest items I own are technically my D1 veteran emblems, I have all of them”.

Another player, AvengingCondor, shared “I still have vex mind components from Season of The Undying at the postmaster on one of my alts”. They added: “KADI 55-30 is stronger than Bungie and refused to let them be deleted at the end of the season, evidently”. This player even provided a picture as proof.

A Destiny 2 Player’s Consumables Inventory Elicits Many Sighs

Carefully kept items in the inventory show just how much the Destiny 2 players care for the game. For example, one player, morning_thief, shared a sneak peek at their collection of consumables.

This collection amazed the community. Some players drooled over the Blue Alkane Spores, while others jokingly asked for their cut. TrakaisIrsis joked: “Bro u gotta share them pies at this point. It’s a whole feast”.

Honestly, we’re a bit green with envy when we look at some of these collections, but that’s fine. It never ceases to amaze us how devoted the Destiny 2 players are. However, if you think about it, it’s completely understandable, as this game has affected many lives and many people gladly call it their home away from home. So, the next time you think about getting rid of a seemingly useless item, remember that it might be worth a lot in the future.
