All players know that Destiny 2 is quite a complex game and it’s tough figuring everything out on your own. Thankfully, this community is tight-knit and often shares advice on how to solve different problems easily. So, when they were asked which places were the best choices to farm Catalysts for Snipers and Rocket Launchers, Destiny 2 players gladly shared their go-tos.
Where Should You Farm Catalysts?
If you’ve been playing Destiny 2 for a while, you probably already know what was the most popular suggestion. Shuro Chi, of course! Several players shared their approaches in great detail, mostly advising to use Orpheus and Tether. Nifty_Andy added: “Use banner for max ammo, kill a wack ton of ads, die, repeat”.
Another player, whateverchill2, offered a whole strategy for Shuro Chi. This player said: “Go in on a void Hunter with Orpheus rigs and Deadfall Tether. Have Echo of Harvest, Echo of Reprisal, and multiple relevant Syphon mods as well as Reaper”. They explained how Teather caused all enemies tied together to share damage and that shared damage all counted as being done by the same weapon.
Finally, ItsGizmoooo did the math. This Redditor stated: “For Shuro Chi if you’re good at manipulating enemy spawns you can get up to 120 kills per wipe. Most Catalysts will be done in about 5 runs which take like 15 minutes”.
Destiny 2 Players Share Their Favorite Places for Farming
What we love about Destiny 2 the most is probably the diversity, so, as expected, many other players had their own suggestions on which places were the best to farm Catalysts. Another popular suggestion was the Grasp of Avarice.
Digital-Sushi shared: “If you stand facing the cave and look to your right there is an incline going up to a container/truck or something like that. Go up to near that point and aim down at the cave entrance. You’ll find that practically every hit from that position is a headshot. So, if your Catalyst needs crits then it’s remarkably easy”.
Several other players suggested the Breakneck mission on the Lightfall Campaign and the Dares of Eternity Loot Pool. Bosscharacter offered a different approach. This player stated: “Onslaught has enough enemy density to get the job done”.
We are partial to Shuro Chi, but we’ll be trying out some of these suggestions for sure. Breaking a habit can sometimes change the whole experience and keep the game fresh. So, even though you probably have your favorite approach, try out something new, you never know, you might really like it. Enjoy the game.
