How To Lock and Unlock Hotbar in Baldur’s Gate 3
Players can lock the hotbar in the game by clicking on the lock icon on the right side of the hotbar at the bottom of the screen. The lock icon will be to the left of the hourglass button, and above the plus and minus buttons alongside the menu containing all of your equipped consumable items.
The closed lock icon means that players cannot accidentally remove spells or items from the hotbar by dragging the icons onto the main action on the screen. If the icon shows an open lock, then players can freely edit their hotbar by dragging spells from their Spellbook tab or items from their inventory tab onto the bar. Locking and unlocking the hotbar can be done at any time during or outside of combat by simply clicking on the lock icon.
