Baldur’s Gate 3 – How to Get Rid of “Bloodless” Debuff
Baldur’s Gate 3 has countless buffs and debuffs, providing positive and negative effects respectively. One peculiar debuff is “Bloodless”, so let’s see how to get rid of it in Baldur’s Gate 3.
If you happened to let Astarion take a sip of your blood, to help a friend out, you have noticed that you wake up with a “Bloodless” effect. Is that bad? Well, yes. Not critical, but not something you should keep. What steps should you take to get rid of it?
How to Get Rid of ”Bloodless” Debuff?
The simplest way of getting rid of the “Bloodless” debuff in Baldur’s Gate 3 is to take a Long Rest. If that is not an option, you can also use Paladin’s Lay on Hands ability or have Shadowheart or someone else with access to Lesser Restoration spell cast it on you. That removes the “Bloodless” status effect.
How Do You Get The “Bloodless” Effect in Baldur’s Gate 3?
You get the “Bloodless” condition if you allow Astarion to feed on you. On the flip side, this will grant Astarion the “Happy” buff. So, depending on your playstyle, this can be a good trade. Even better if you let Astarion feed, and then remove “Bloodless” by magic, letting Astarion keep his
“Happy” status.
What do “Bloodless” and “Happy” Status Effects Do?
“Bloodless” is a debuff you get if you let Astarion drink your blood. On the other hand, this will make him “Happy”. What does that mean? The “Bloodless” effect gives you a -1 penalty on Attack Rolls, Saving Throws, and Ability Checks. The “Happy” effect is the opposite and gives a +1 bonus on Attack Rolls, Saving Throws, and Ability Checks.
